Thanks Bevsta!! I am pleased I must admit!! Every little counts and 4 losses in a row is also a great acheivement for me! I'm muchas excitedas!! (OK I'm well aware that isn't real Spanish!!) I'm happy to be chipping away now and still enjoying the thrill of the chase!! I'll have to re-think my approach once I get there!! And you m'dear have acheived great things too and very nearly there!!!! You must be on top of the world right now!!X

Like you I'm not sure how the hell I'm going to maintain when I get there as I really have been eating very well for the last 2 weeks and losing silly amounts! And yes - standing here on Everest looks pretty good.

But the next 2 weeks might be a struggle with avid food fans staying with us! We've got people for the 6 weeks after that too but they are all doing SW or are skinnies who don't mind following SW with me. So I could be going up again if I'm not too careful.

Well you could cash in on the fact that your chums are fellow SWers and healthy peeps by getting creative and doing some yummy SW recipes including some of the puds! There's no reason why you have to go overboard just because you've got guests! However if you feel a blow-out is in order after all your recent discipline and a possible gain would be worth it then by alll means go for it and correct it afterwards! Sometimes its OK to do that if we're prepared to deal with the consequences the other end! X

Brilliant work Hevs!!!

That 10 stone something will be yours next week!! And lots of things to keep up the determination!! Target and 5 stone shineys at the top of the hill!!

I dont have amazing losses anyway so target was just staying on plan as usual with one day off a week which usually makes me maintain. It only gets tricky when one day off turns into 7, which turns into 14 which made me back out of range lol. U r far more deciplined than me so im sure u'll be fine!! xx

Aww thanks chapesses!! I do hope so, but I am a bit concerned that last night's Franky & Bennys has put a spanner in the works so I know I've got to be mega good to pull it back! CLL if I can do it (I'm a real slowcoach) so can you!! X

For a poor Spanish exile, what is a Mugshot please?

I remember on a thread somewhere, someone saying they will always remember you as the omlette girl (or something like that).

Well I think of you as the Hot Sauce queen - Nandos extra exta hot piri-piri sauce seems to crop up an awful lot! What on earth is this too?

Crisis over - i have been to poundland and now have 3 in my draw!! lol

I go crazy for them and then when i get bored i forget them for a month and then they come back out again lol. Esp good for me as i have no microwave at work so its the only hot cheap meal i can get lol

Pom - mug shots are like cuppa soups but are pasta, i.e. its pasta which you put in a mug, add hot water to, leave for 5 minutes and its ready. A lot of them are free and some have really low syns :)

xx

Hi Bev, finally finished my two looooong shifts in a row and now 5 days off...yaaaayyyyy!!!! I plan to relax and ENJOY!!!!

So Mugshots, as Pesty rightly stated, are pasta/soup snacks you make up in a mug! They come in flavours such as spicy sweet n sour, tomato & herb, spicy tomato, chicken (these are free), Thai, roast chicken (these are 0.5 syns) and creamy cheese (these are 2 syns). There are also couscous ones available which are also really low syn! I find them fantastic when I'm hungry but will be going for hours without food (work is a great example!) Nandos is a popular food chain in most cities in UK now! It's Portugese and really yummy- they specialise in chicken which you can have as a salad, with fries, in pitta bread or in a wrap! They also do veggie options and lots of side dishes like spicy rice, corn on the cob, sweet potato mash, minted mushy peas- The main courses come with optional piri-piri sauce of varying degrees of heat! You can also help yourself to all the varieties of sauce to take to the table! I ALWAYS have the 'extra extra hot' one which blows your head off! To my delight I discovered that the main supermarkets are now selling Nandos sauces and I find myself going bananas for it and even having it on my omelettes at breakfast!! I'm a bit weird like that!!! Omelette Queen, Nandos hot sauce Queen- call me what you like .....lol XXX:D

Week 98- Day 4 (Fri)- Extra Easy.

Late lunch- Honey & Soy glazed smoked mackerel fillet 80g (3 syns) and seafood stick salad with Romaine lettuce, garden salad, watercress, cherry tomatoes, red pepper, red chilli, cucumber, green olives (2 syns). Balsamic vinegar. A banana.

In cinema (went to see The Rise of the Planet of the Apes!! OMG AMAAZINGGG!!!) A few of dh's nachos and some jalapeno chillis (3 syns).

At home after cinema- Beef stew (see Tues- 1 syn). Melted Red Leicester 21g (3/4 HEXa). A corn on the cob. A little white bread (2.5 syns). Fresh pineapple.

A little semi-skimmed milk in 3 cups of tea (1/4 HEXa).

Total syns 11.5.
