yoghurt, apple

Dinner:
couscous, salad leaves, 42g feta (HA)

Tea:
broccoli, carrots,
mashed potato (with milk from HA),
3x red leicester quorn sauasages (1.5syns),
gravy (3 syns)

Snacks:
6 walnuts (HB), milk in tea (HA)
clementines, plums, banana
2 pieces dairy milk (4 syns)

clementines, milk in tea (1/4 of HA)

Saturday 28th November - Extra Easy day

Breakfast:
1/2 a banana, 2 small wholemeal toast (HB), poached eggs

Dinner:
Jacket potato, tuna,
sweetcorn, onion,
30g light salad cream (3.5syns)


Tea:
piece of swordfish and quinoa with a salad and beetroot, followed by SW recipe white chocolate mouse (8.5syns as I've altered the recipe to include more chocolate and more white highlights hot choc!)

Snacks:
clementines, milk in tea (HA), 1/2 a curly wurly (3 syns)

Total Syns:
15 syns :D woop woop I've stuck to plan !

Sunday 29th November - Green day

Breakfast:
28g oat puffs (5syns)
milk in tea and for cereal (HA)

Dinner:
Peppers stuffed with quinoa, onion and cherry tomatoes
Cheddar cheese on top (42g= HA+ 3syns)

Tea:
3 quorn sausages, pasta quiche (6syns), beans
light ice cream 200g :( (~14syns)
banana
1 aplen light bar :( (3syns)

Snacks:
clementines,
curly wurly (6 syns),
2 alpen light bars (HB)

Monday 30th November - I messed up today :( End of the month, very busy in work, a bit stressed but ready to put more effort in tomorrow :)

I messed up yesterday too. Please please please can something click now to make me feel like getting back on plan, so far so good today -fingers crossed.

Woah - did you really eat 5 alpen lights in one day! If I eat too many I get really bloated.

Looking at your diaries you seem to really like something sweet at teatime. You stick to plan all day and then it goes awry. On those days when you plan this and make something SW friendly you stay within your syns. But on days when you don't you end up having ice cream, chocolate or 5 alpen lights :D So I suppose the answer is to either save your syns during the day so you can have something at teatime, or prepare something SW friendly in advance so you don't reach for the naughty stuff.

Hi Circes :) Thanks for your observations ! It really helps when someone else can see a pattern to your eating habits! And you're absolutely right, I do seem to stick to plan pretty well for breakfast and dinner and work time snacks and then when I get home I'm quite hungry and like something sweet after tea. I do need to do a plan and have these types of things ready for myself ! I've worked hard with hubby to create a list of pudding/dessert things that can be sw compliant :)

PS Yep 5 aplen bars in a day - not a problem for me :( cereal is a real problem food for me so I probably shouldnt buy 5 packs of things. I've managed a whole box of crunchy oat bakes in a day too.... this is when I know I'm in serious problem territory. I've not done this in a while, thank goodness. I'll keep trying :)

Here's todays menu, its not perfect but it is alot better than the last few days I've had......

Thursday 3rd December - Green day

Breakfast:

fat free yeo valley yog (nightmare I thought this was free but its 4.5syns per 450g..... I had about 150g so therefore 1.5syns)

Dinner:
2 x 2 x wholemeal bread (2xHB)
cottage cheese
salad
mini snack sushi m+S (0.5syns)
fruit salad

Tea:
beetroot innocent veg pot (6.5syns)
28g cheese (HA),
a meringue nest (2.5syns), 90g low fat soft scoop (6syns), l/f aerosol cream (0.5syns)
1/2 a minature green and blacks chocolate (2syns)

Snacks:
clementines,
banana,
milk in tea (0.5HA)
sugar free jelly

Total Syns:
19 :)

Sooooo happy I stuck to plan yesterday, I've planned as much as I can so I'll be on track today too. Here's the plan:

Friday 4th December - Green day

Breakfast:
fat free yeo valley yog (1.0syns), apple

Dinner:
couscous
tomatoes, green pepper
22g mixed seeds (HB)
mini snack sushi m+S (0.5syns)
fruit salad

Tea:
pasta n sauce and loads of broccoli, 28g cheese (HA),
rice pud (HA+3syns)
1/2 a minature green and blacks chocolate (2syns)

Snacks:
clementines,
banana,
milk in tea -2 cups (2syns max)
sugar free jelly

Total Syns:
8.5 :) will have a HB to use later too :)

Well its baby steps all the way for me so I'm celebrating the fact that its mid evening and I'm feeling quite in control and I've stuck to my plan. I'm not too bothered if I have my second HB as I could take my cheese as a HB and that would make 2HB and 1HA. So fingers crossed I'm going to stick to the plan:D

Well I managed last night too :) Today is going well although I'm not sure if today will be EE or green again. I'll update later, so far though its looking like this: Decided on EE :)

Saturday 5th December - Green Day

Dinner:
salad, sweetcorn, peas, jacket potato
pasta n sauce
rice pudding (HA+3syns)

Tea:
Homemade prawn curry and rice (HB for 1/2 tsbp of oil and prawns)
strawberry flan (11syns)

Snacks:
clementines,
1/2 a minature green and blacks chocolate (2syns)
milk in tea -2 cups (HA)
1.5 poppadums (3syns)
4 snack a jacks (10syns)

Total Syns:

:wave_cry: Had a very busy day and although some of it is healthy, I'm not sure on the syns but lets just say I've been off plan. On the plus point I've made my veg soup ready for work tomorrow and I've bought plenty of SW friendly things for the week ahead.

B- porridge/skimmed milk.
Snack-banana, 1/2 a green and blacks minature bar
D- out for lunch goats cheese and nut wellington with veggies.
T- organic whole oat puffs, sweetner, skimmed milk..... 2 slices of seeded bread/scraping of butter..... mug of horlicks light
Snack- light ice cream, meringue nests, 3 snack a jacks

fromage frais with tsp horlicks stirred in (1 syn), apple
