Hi there,

Just thought I would tell you about a site I've discovered. Walk jog run uses satellite maps where you can measure how far you have walked.

I have found a route which is exactly a mile round my estate and I do it maybe 3 or 4 times a week (3 or 4 miles a week I didn't do before!!)

You can adjust the setting to put in your current weight and it tells you how many calories you have used.

Handy if you have gone out a walk and wondered how far you have gone

fabulous! i'm doing a program which enables beginner runners like myself to be able to run 30-35mins in one go (5k/3miles) in 8 weeks and was stuggling with distances, i've even tried rac routeplannering my street to 5 streets away, so difficult lol!

Thanks for sharing! Just worked out that around the block is 1.15 miles and I can burn 165 cals - great stuff!! :)
