Greek meze ideas?!?!?!

    I'm having my family over on Saturday night for early mothers day, my mum loves Greek Meze and wondered if anyone has any slimming world ideas??

    I've picked up hummus and tzatziki recipes on here already!!

    you could make your own taramasalata and perhaps a potato salad with red onion and feta cheese in it.

    vine leaves stuffed with rice.

    some seasoned lamb skewers or fish/prawns

    Oooh love stuffed vine leaves, hadn't even thought about that!! Thank you! I'm veggie, but the skewers are fab idea too, I could do meat fir them and quorn for me! Lovely!!!

    Don't forget to add tons of chopped peppers, onions, mushrooms, courgettes etc.

    I think they're called Bean Gigantes, sure you can find a recipes if you put it into google, they're big butter beans in a tomato sauce so bet you could make them sw friendly

    Thank you for all the lovely ideas! I was worried that I wouldn't be able to find vine leaves so I googles alternatives and came up with a recipe that uses cos lettuce leaves or cabbage leaves!!

    I'm going to make: red pepper hummus, tzatziki, with wholemeal pitta and vegetable sticks, vine leaves, minted lamb skewers and bean gigantes - all sw!!!! And this is just for starters!!! Going to make a quorn moussaka for the main with green salad and some type of quark/fromage frais cheesecake for dessert!

    I think I can do it all pretty much syn free which leaves me syns for a couple of cheeky glasses of wine!!!
