Have to share my breakfast - It was amazing ....

Todays menu:
B - 2 Weetabix with chopped banana and Blue Diamond Almond Breeze milk (HEB and part HEA)
S - 2 bananas
L - 2 slices wholemeal from 400g loaf (HEB) with balsamic roasted veggies, pickled onions, mixed baby leaf and rocket salad with 5g seed sprinkles (1.5 syns) and 1 tbsp balsamic dressing (1 syn), 100g Alpro Soya vanilla yogurt with frozen strawberries (1.5 syns)
S - 1 banana
D - Bean chilli (soya mince, butter beans, red kidney beans, mushrooms, onions, peppers, chilli, garlic, passata, tomato puree etc) with rustic oven chips (3 syns) and golden veg savoury rice (1 syn)
Pud - Trifle - (WW jelly crystals, strawberries and Alpro Soya custard - 4.5 syns)
200ml Koko chocolate milk with 20g soya protein powder (HEA plus half a syn)
Total syns: 13
 
Hey all I'm a vegan following green...lovely ideas on here :) here's my food for the day

B - berries & soya yogurt (2)
L - hummous & ryvita (HEXBs), salad, cous cous, encona sauce (0.5)
D - mini roast pots with oregano, corn on thr cob sprayed with butter frylite and salt, salad and 2 Linda macartney sausages. Will have some sauce with it (2)

snacks will be rambutan, cherries, chocolate coconut milk (HEXA)

Tea - jacket sweet potato, sweet chilli sausages (2 syns), beans and mushrooms
Lunch for work -wholemeal roll (HEB), hummus (1/2 syn), tomatoes, lettuce, strawberries and grapes
Snacks - french fries (4 syns) and protein shake (HEA + 1 syn)

Total syns 9.5/15

Thursday

Breakfast - scrambled vegg and mushrooms on toast (HEB + 1 syn)
Lunch - hummus sandwich with tomato (HEB + 1/2 syn), lettuce and fruit
Tea - cauliflower & olive spaghetti (4 syns) and salad
Snacks - french fries (4 syns) and protein shake (HEA + 1 syn)

Total syns 20/30

Haven't cooked or had dinner all week... tired or hot !! Not good.. will try harder. . Was thinking about sucessexpress next week but its a bit confusing..

Lunch - 2 ryvitas (1/2 HEB) peanut butter/chocolate hummus (1/2 syn), banana, peach and plum
Tea - Veg korma & rice (1/2 HEB + 2 syns)
Lunch for work - hummus sandwich (HEB + 1/2 syn), tomato, lettuce and fruit
Snacks - french fries (4 syns) and protein shake (HEA + 1 syn)

Total syns 30/45

The recipe for peanut butter/chocolate hummus is as follows-
Tin of chickpeas
1 tbsp peanut butter 4.5 syns
1.5 tbsp cocoa powder 1.5 syns
sweetener to taste

Total syns 6

I only used a small amount on my ryvita so 1/2 syn :)

Snacks - banana, crisps (4.5 syns)

Anyone tried red as a vegetarian before? ?

Sw doesn't agree with me when I'm flaring. . Need to figure it out! !

Tea - sausage & beans casserole made with garlic and herb baked beans, peppers, mushrooms, onion (3 syns), broccoli and mash followed by melon
Lunch for work -choc hummus on wholemeal (HEB + 1/2 syns), apple, orange and grapes
Snacks - 12 cashews (HEB), crisps (4.5 syns)

Total syns (10) 16.5/30

Hey don't wanna hijack the 'green' thread but here's a diary to give you an idea of what I did - deffo good if you wanna cut carbs like iv done for my blood sugars .. And has worked really well today - also not felt bloated once :)

So

B - syn free pancakes with lemon & Danio peach yogurt

D - mixed fruit salad
(I did plan on having a goats cheese salad or LM sausage pitta but ran out of time - which would have been 1HEXB for either goats cheese or pitta)

T - quorn pieces with stir fry and ww wholemeal pitta (hexb)

S - crisps, alpen bars, latte (hexb, hexa & 8 syns)

Or you could have -
Mixed veg omelette
Quorn Chilli and use a HEXb for kidney beans
Mixed veg soups
Use two HEXbs on spud & beans
Fried eggs, sausage & beans
Quorn fillets marinated with veg
.. There's loads ;)

I dunno what to do lol think I'll try one more week green even if it means discomfort. . Think anything will set me off right now!

Breakfast - scrambled vegg with nutritional yeast (1.5 syns), grilled tomato, tinned tomatoes with mushrooms in, beans, roasted sliced potatoes and LM sausage (2 syns)
Tea - chargrilled veg and TVP in tomato sauce (1.5 syns) with pasta
Lunch for work - Redwood slice & salad butty (HEB + 1 syn), fruit
Snacks - crisps (4.5 syns), 12 cashew nuts (HEB), 200ml rice milk (HEA)

Total syns (10.5) 27/45


Breakfast was amazing, mmmmmmm :)
