GREEN DAYS ONLY - systemas diary

I havn't got an app - I havn't got a mobile phone - must be the only person in UK without one.:D

Thanks for all the help - syns would be nice to know. My son will be on the case for me as he knows all the small health food shops although he won't know about these as he makes his own tofu etc.

Just holler and I can look up stuff for you

well I have found a source for all those of you who cant get to the shop to get some
goodness direct and they are very reasonably priced too - I did not look into the cost of postage though

Thanks again for all the info - looking forward to buying these when I get back. Not really been into Tofu and ate loads of Tempeh before we came here which contains quite alot of fat but now quite enjoy it when it is marinated or scrambled into curry.
Looked at the Taifun ones and the Basil one right up my street.

the Basil tofu is wonderful - its one of my favourites

you have changed your picture - is it what I think it is :):)

looking your diary over I am seriously conside4ring going back to the sw way of eating - not going to class as I cant afford it BUT it seems there are lots of people willing to check syns out for you and once you have them written down you know them
if the CC stops working for me I know what my next step will be

hoping you are having a lovely day - cant wait to see what goodies you find in the shops today :):)

H xx

Yes it is what you think it is - that is the only image we have !!!

I really fancy that basil tofu so will keep an eye out for it.

I did Calorie Counting when I lost my "big" weight and still look at things and think NO but on SW it is ok. That is why I didn't have that Mayflower Curry Sauce because I thought there was too much oil in it. I went to SW class but did not like them at all, to be honest I was bored to death as the only veggie and all most of them talked about was what they were going to eat and drink when they went out. Think I would prefer to go to Rosemary Conley class where they have a excercise class after it, perhaps I could go there and do SW but not tell them. :D

Anyway yes we have been out shopping and bought the Tofu and here it is.

TOFUFLAVOURS_zpsb513aa92.jpg

1 - Abalone Mushroom Tofu
2 - Pure Tofu
3 - Momordica Tofu - This is Sour Melon. - Didn't know what it was, just bought it because it looked like fruit.
They were about 23p each - 200gms in flavoured and 300gms in Plain one. It is in English on the packet and there is nothing else iin them only tofu and flavouring.
Will see tomorrow what the melon one is like when I have it on my fruit at lunch time.

they are bargains serious bargains :):)
you wont be getting tofu at those prices when you get back here :):)

That tofu looks wonderful.

Latte I think I would say interesting :D By the time you all get up tomorrow I will have either have eaten the momordica one or it will be in the bin.

Oh that is a shame the marmite of the tofu world! !!
Acquired taste

Welcome - we all ramble on here so you are in good company :)

Isn't it brilliant when you get that moment when it all makes sense - I was really ill for over a year before they diagnosed me ( it was many years ago) and I have a son who has it and him knowing what happened to me guessed straight away what was wrong with him and went to the Docs and said - I think I have Crohns. I am fine with it as long as I stick to the right food but he still has quite a lot of attacks and he is Vegan. He was on steroids for a while but he cycles everywhere and is quite "sporty" and managed to get back to his pre-steroid weight.
Lettuce (but not other greens) and meat are my triggers along with milk although I am fine with Yoghurt.

Going to go up to the shops later so will see what it says on the tofu but in UK have never seen any this consistency - you can cut the top of the tube and squirt it out, just like toothpaste.
Keep well and Good Luck with the weight loss.

Do you have a Diary page?

I cannot tell you how low I was last year and just how much pain I was in. I was honestly going to insist on a hysterectomy as I thought it was the endometriosis till another laparoscopy ruled that out.
I thought it was all in my head and I was on morphine patches for unexplained chronic pain.
The difference in 6 months is unbelievable. No more morphine patches no more horrific leg and hip pain and in the last 6 weeks no more stomach attacks.
I am still trying to work out my triggers but for definite meat shellfish poultry cream and cream cheese.

It is amazing how a right diagnosis and the right medication can turn everything around.

I am also now only working 4 days a week on advice of my specialist which was much needed. I couldn't have worked full time as I was making so many mistakes.

I did have a food diary years ago I might resurrect it.

The 300gm blocks are only 30p - will be a shock to the purse buying them from Asda etc.

I opened the Momordica tofu - it was ok, was a bit tomato -y and would buy it again. Didn't eat it with anything just used a spoon to it (both of us) and will put the rest in the chilli tonight.

I am glad it was edible

hope you are having a restful night

I see many steps again and you had those lovely spring rolls - they look amazing

have a lovely day when you wake

1 minute after you posted - it is 1/4 to 5 in the afternoon and not having a restful afternoon - we have men all over the place sorting out the TV, drilling walls etc. but it looks like we have digital TV with lots of channels so hopefully we will be able to watch f1 and football now.
Will catch up with you later as they want to turn everything off to do some checking.

Nope - I don't have any apps - I have a bog standard mobile. Can't be doing with all this singing and dancing and whatnot on phones. I barely use mine.
