    Hi Nicola,

I go away for work a lot and have now started just asking the chef to make me what I want to eat - whether its on the menu or not.... best done in advance so that they can get the stuff in.

I haven't had one yet that has said no. I have even taken WW recipes to hotels and asked them to make it for me! And they have - brilliant. I think chefs like the challenge sometimes.

If choosing from the menu - stick with chicken/fish etc and ask for no dressings, sauces, coatings. Avoid the creamy stuff and load your plate up with veg with no butter. You won't go far wrong.

oh, but stay away from puddings...they are the devil's work....xx

Possibly something like soup followed by monkfish would be a good option. From memory monkfish is really low

monkfish is really really low - a decent portion (around half a pound / 225g) is only 2 points and if you've not had it before its a really meaty fish and so tasty!

although parma ham isnt exactly good for you, its cut wafer thin, so again two slices might only cost you 1.5 points tops xxx
