How reliable is Wii Fit? / were the scales wrong?!

So I have been 100% all week then today I get to weigh in and I've put on 4lbs!! And get this NO ONE had lost! Not one! Everyone had gained except a few who had maintained... COULD the scales have been wrong? No one said anything anyway... So disappointed either way :(

Can't you contact the leader and explain that you think the scales were wrong last week. I think that he at least owes everyone an explanation. How many people are going to go away really disappointed this week and it's not their fault. Go on, be a devil xxxx

Well my consultant just texted saying head office are sending new scales and wires as they're "not sure happened the last week"... Not sure what that means but shows something wasn't quite right somewhere!

If you want a more accurate wii fit board weight then always use on a level hard floor. Might sound picky but actually get a spirit level and most of the time you will find floors within the home are not "level". Never weigh yourself on the carpet!! Its way out!! Nintendo do also state this on their website. If you have think plush carpet like me....my feet sink into it then you can buy foot extenders for the WII board direct from Nintendo. These lift the board from the floor and do make it more accurate but the best option really is a 100% level hard floor! I spent ages trying to resolve this issue. My wii fit makes me 2lb exactly under SW scales. I can live with this. Just won't buy scales as I would never be off them.

Turns out the scales were wrong but no one knows when or how much by. I wish I had said something at the time! Apprehend our C is asking if we will get any £ back. We should do really, what are we paying for at a WEIGH in otherwise!
