I had forgotten how inches melt away on Atkins! lol

Well, I have lost just under 4 inches off each thigh and just over 5 inches from my waist :)

The weight is nice enough. But the inches are lovely!

I put on a pair of (what were suppose to be jeggings, but came and were stretch denim) fitted jeans with diamantes on. I bought them to wear out in March and soon saw that they could not pull up. I was going to give them away, and never got around to it.

Today, not only did they pull up, they actually look nice!

I am a happy bunny. Please tell me off peeps if at any point I seem to be going off track (though I can't see it lol)

Thanks ladies :)

I can see why they say measure and don't just weigh. Having those jegging things slip on without even a struggle was lovely. I am looking forward to the same happening with some of my chosen target clothes :)

Losing inches means you're looking smaller!! That's what we all want! I wonder why we focus on weight soo much instead of the actual physical shrinking!
I wouldn't care what the scales said if I could fit in a size 12 again! xxx
Well done !

Are you neen from WLS? If so, always wondered what you look like like and you are really pretty!

Anyway lol, we should try and focus on size. But we worry about the BMI we are told we should but, so the focus becomes the weight. I am like you, if I can ever get to a size 14, I will be more than happy!

Hi Fuffs! Yes it's me hun!
Trying to go the Atkins way again as it seems to suit me xxx
You'll get there! I think we need the patience of a Saint to stay consistently on the plan long enough to get the results.
I tend to jump on the next wow diet I see rather than stick it out so hopefully going to avoid doing that this time and keep going with this!

Wait until you have lost between 10-14lbs, it will soon show, and then the inches will melt away. Honestly, I sound like the ambassador of fat, but that is truly what does it. Fat melts the fat. It is a beautiful thing :)

I thought it was too much of a coincidence! lol

I am the same as you. I hear of a diet and jump on it. I cannot even count how many from the cabbage soup, to WW, to SW, to fibre, to liquid, to exante just to name a few lol

When I was last on Atkins, I was loosing weight well. Inches were coming off nicely. I should have stayed strong through my stall. I didn't.

But this time my mental state is somehow different. I gave good lip service to getting to goal and have on many occassions. But this time I know I can. Good chances are I wont get my bypass. So, I am in the zone and plan on staying in it lol

I think we have to tough it out this time Fuffs!! If I see a new wonder diet from now on I am going to go face down in my sugarfree jelly and cream and ignore it!!
I think every time we mess about and chop and change hoping for the speedier solution , it just means our bodies take longer to convince we mean it and we're going to stick with something long enough to allow the fat to get released.
Lucky the food is so nice!

You go girl!!.. I'm in that zone too.. I've been on and off Atkins.. and a multitude of other diets this year.. and wish I'd just stuck with Atkins.. it WORKS so well for me... 12 days into induction and I'm 12 pounds down.. and 4 inches from my waist!!... It took me a while to get my mindset into it and forget all the other diets (I was going for DUKAN and PALEO diets.. but they still have some carbs.)...

NEEN.... when did you have your Gastric Band?.. how did you get on with it?. I had mine 3 years ago.Nice to see another 'bandee' choosing Atkins!!...

Hi Neen, so we had them done around the same time. Mine was done in June 2008. I've heard recently that the best weight loss with it happens in the first year.. I'm still planning on keeping mine as it helps me to stop eating so quickly and makes me CHEW!.. but Atkins is the best thing working for me and is now going to be my permanent way of eating.. NO MORE DIETS!!!!...

Love reading your posts Fuffs!.. and I love your NAME!!
