I love my Red Days :-)

Haven't made it, just wondering what it would be like. Don't think anything can make up for a proper cheese sauce! Might try it, food shopping tomorrow xx
 
Woohoo, 6lb down this week! Nearly back at target lol

Planning meals next week, gonna try some different recipes I think. Off to see Paloma Faith tomorrow so will try not to grab a burger! :)
 
Hi guys mind if I join you? I started sw 4 weeks ago and been following EE. I'm struggling tbh think its all the carbs so decided to have a go at red for a while. Was surprised to read about double hex but really glad as I love my bread and cereal! Thinking of having ago at home made burgers for dinner tonight and some form of veg chips?
 
Welcome! I love burgers and chips, sooo yummy. Pop a babybel light in the middle of burgers, really good! I use butternut squash for veg chips on red days, chop into wedges and cover with frylight, salt, pepper, paprika and cayenne if you like them spicy. About 30mins in oven, the best. Feels naughty but totally free and not like diet food at all!! xx

Right, food for today, fancy cous cous so ee today - it is friday after all :-D

Breakfast - 2 weetabix (hexa&b), raspberries, blueberries, blackberries

Lunch - miso soup (1 syn), big ham salad (lettuce, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, beetroot, spring onion), chocolate flapjack (10 syns)

Dinner - lamb escalopes, grilled in cranberry sauce (1.5 syns), vine tomatoes and jewlled cous cous (red, yellow, peppers, spring onion, courgette, lemon), sweet podded peas, asparagus

Syns - 20 odd I reckon

Made chocolate crispy cakes with the boys so ended up licking the bowl and having a few cubes of chocolate :-(

Saturday

Breakfast - muller light yoghurt, blueberries, raspberries, blackcurrants, 2 alpen light bars sprinkled over the top (hexb)

Lunch - gammon, mushrooms, corn on the cob, peas

Dinner - not sure as at a music concert tonight. Might take smoked salmon and rolls/salad?

Monday

Breakfast - nothing

Lunch - ham sandwich with white bread, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, celery, alpen light bar (hexb), apple

Dinner - beef salad (celery, lettuce, cherry tomatoes, beetroot, red pepper, mushrooms), corn on the cob, muller light

Syns - all syns on the bread probably, my wm roll was mouldy!!

Exercise - 40min davina dvd
 
Tuesday

Breakfast - muller light yoghurt, blueberries, strawberries

Lunch - GP's buy our lunch so not good! Salad, bit of pork pie, few crisps, be good for you range chicken wrap, strawberries, lemon yoghurt, small bit of choc brownie!

Dinner - lm mozzarella burger, mushrooms, courgette

Syns - tonnes probably lol

Good to write it all down tho :)
 
Wednesday

Breakfast - 2 weetabix (hexa&b), strawberries, blueberries

Lunch - wm ham roll (hexb), cucumber, cherry tomatoes, yellow pepper, banana

Dinner - out tonight so something quick, maybe bacon and mushroom omelette and salad

Snacks - 2 rich tea biscuits (3 syns)

Syns - 3 so far
 
I can feel my uniform getting tighter - butt severely kicked! No more nibbles of biscuits and cakes, only me can turn this around!

Breakfast - 2 weetabix (hexa & b), strawberries

Lunch - chicken sandwich, banana, apple, orange

Dinner - spaghetti bolognaise (chopped tomatoes, onion, mushrooms, green peppers, carrots) with spicy bns wedges

Syns - will count 15 as had to use white bread for a sandwich and it'll get me away from the biscuits!

Might try a dvd tonight but am still shattered from a 15hr shift on sunday and got 2 study days this week
