I love my Red Days :-)

Thanks honey. I finally did it and got on the scales :-( yesterday showed 11st 12lbs, did a fast day and today I'm 11st 9lbs. Have just written meal plan for next week, forgotten about burgers and pulled pork tho lol on the list!! Thank you hun. New target is 1.5 stone by christmas and booked a 10k run in December!

Am back :-D

Friday

Breakfast - black coffee

Lunch - miso soup (1 syn), ham wm roll (hexb), 2 alpen light bars (hexb)

Dinner - chicken stir fry (mushrooms, onion, carrots, peppers, tomatoes, bamboo shoots, water chestnuts) with courgette ribbons

Syns - 5 from a couple of sweets I think

2lbs down so far, red days are working!

Lunch - sausage casserole (carrots, swede, onions, celery, tomatoes), mashed potato with fry light, asparagus

Dinner - ham wm roll (hexb), banana, satsuma, apple, muller light, blueberries, dark chocolate (15 syns)

Breakfast - 2 weetabix (hexa&b), blueberries, raspberries

Lunch - wm ham roll (hexb), small slice pork pie (5 syns), apple, orange

Dinner - roast chicken, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, 1 roast potato (? Syns), raspberries, strawberries, low fat spray cream

Syns - 15

Here to subscribe to your diary Jen, I didn't realise you had one :) Good luck getting back on track. When I first started posting on minis you were a real inspiration for my weight loss journey, and still are. I agree that the SW at home forum has changed lately. Anyway all the best and your red days sound fab x
 
Arrr, thanks honey, very sweet of you. Not done too bad considering it's a weekend, 4 days pretty much on track! I did eat one roast potato with dinner but said no to an ice cream when out today so could be a whole lot worse!

Hi Jen, I am back with a new diary for maintenance. Had problem with my laptop.
Well done for starting again - summer is difficult sticking to plan but now that the weather is getting colder it will be easier with stews, soups, etc.
You have done it before and can do again. you started well losing 2 lbs.

Life does get in the way. Actually thinking about I got to target of 11 stone in February so to be 11s 7lb now isn't a huge disaster. It will come off eventually!

4.5lbs for a holiday gain isn't too bad at all hun!
 
Monday

Breakfast - muller light, 1 alpen light bar (1/2 hexb)

Lunch - ham wm roll (hexb), banana, apple, orange, 1 alpen light bar (1/2 hexb), 2 biscuits (5 syns)

Dinner - chicken salad (lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, beetroot, mushrooms) with hard boiled eggs

Syns - 5 so far

Exercise - 50 mins dvd workout
 
Tuesday

Breakfast - nothing, feeling too emotional about Oliver starting school today!

Lunch - ham salad (lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, beetroot, mushrooms, peppers)

Dinner - meatballs ( lf mince, onion, mushrooms, tomatoes, peppers) griddled courgette, roasted carrots

Syns - well over as had a whole bar of galaxy in the cinema :-(

Another lb gone today, red days are the way! Altho I had such a stressful day at work yesterday, no time to eat so that may be it lol

Thursday

Breakfast - 2 weetabix (hexa&b), blueberries

Lunch - scrambled egg and ham wm roll (hexb and 1 syn spread) and tomatoes

Dinner - paprika chicken (2 syns), carrots, green beans, roasted onion and tomatoes

Syns - 8

Snacks - apple, handful of skittles, 1/2 chocolate wafer (5 syns)

Exercise - school run 1hr walk

Well done on your losses. Once I'm back from my holiday I will be having some red days as they reduce my cravings.
