I am back again.... 3.5 miles last night. I did set my alarm clock to get up in the morning but rolled over for another snooze. Like you clavicles I am afraid I would collapse at the side of the road if I hadnt any food in my system!!! So I think I will stick with my evenings run for another while.
I found the week break did help rest my legs and felt good during last nights run.

Oops forgot to update. Had that god awful run friday. Then it was great on sunday! Today was my first run outside instead of on treadmill. It was very tough. Quite windy lol. My original route was like marshland with all the deep mud. My trainers were pitted and my feet wet within a couple of minutes! Had to turn around and wade back through to get to sn alternate route. All footpath so much better but still hard. Walked a bit when normally I'd run dtraight through.

BUT I loved it much more outside, so will be keeping it outdoors whenever possible

I did my last run yesterday, half marathon next on Sunday. Having bit of a problem with my moulded inner soles at the moment. I had to take one out on my run yesterday as it was so uncomfortable. Doing that must have changed my gait though, as suffering from knee and calf pain now! Not ideal this close to the race and now not sure what to do about wearing the inner sole on Sunday. I guess it's down to changing my trainers so close to race day.

I feel a bit nervous, but mostly excited about Sunday. I imagine that will be the reverse come Sat night!!!!

yea, running outside is great, it beats the treadmill hands down. You cant beat the feeling of fresh air in your lungs!
