If I had 120 syns in a week, would I still lose?

It depends on a lot of things including how much you have to lose, how active you are and your other food consumption over the week. But really, you only had an extra 19 syns which amounts to 380 calories. Look at that over the course of a week and it's not worth getting stressed about. Just learn the lesson and move on.
I've had near to 200 in 1 week and still lost; I have a lot to loose, did lost of additional exercise and decided to use the flexible syns so not to stress myself. As others have said it's only another 300 or so calories and you need at least 10 times that amount for a gain.
