I've done it, 5k in 30 mins on the treadmill :happy036:
...now i've gotta be able to do that on the road to get a good time at the Race for life in June - i'll do it though, i've come this far in 3 months haven't I?!
Jenni - you might need to buy some more expensive trainers, I know you can get proper running ones which have shock obsorbers in which would probably be better for your knee...
Dave - that was me 3 months ago mate so keep at it, build it up bit by bit and you'll improve no problems, all the best!
i went back to the gym today for the first time since march last year , it was a little struggle to say the least but i managed nearly a hour .but least the worst is out of the way.
