Total Solution In search of my waistline.

I lost 3Lbs :) and if that wasn't brilliant enough today I wore a pair of my pre pregnancy jeans (with a baggy tunic to hide the muffin top!) but they were on and fastened. It's strange though, from looking at them I thought, no way am I going to get in to them! Today was a good day :)

Fantastic, there's something so special being able to get back into clothes that used to fit. I think because we lose the weight so quickly on this diet, it takes a little longer for our heads to catch up, hope thenext week goes really well :)

The last few days have been mixed, I had a date night in on Friday, cooked sirloin steaks I had one with salad and a small home made chocolate brownie with ice cream (it took all my will power not to eat the batter) alas it wasn't the romantic evening planned, he arrived late and monkey face refused to sleep. Saturday we went to visit the grandparents and ended up out for dinner, to avoid a long drawn out debate on diets I had an omlette with salad, we walked to and from the pub so hopfully that will help (about 40mins) Spent mothers day nursing my sick little man I've never felt so stressed it's the first time he's been poorly, He's much better today. I was 100% but didn't drink enough water. I'm really tired today which is making me crave carbs had 2 mini quorn fillets and made a mushroom soup up thickly with a bit of chilli powder in and used it as a sauce seems to have done the trick. At the start of the 7th week I have 18 days until my birthday 28 days until I go back to work and have decided 40 days left on Exante or 1 more bumper pack! looking at it that way makes me feel better rather than my goal weight which I wont reach by then, but will be a good portion of the way there. Then the hard work starts!

Can't believe you've lost nearly 2 stone - that's fantastic! I thinking the hardest thing is when you're socialising. There's the whole diet debate thing, the not wanting to be rude thing, and then the fact that it just looks really yummy! Monday again though so no excuses for having a nibble, sadly :-(

I know! I enjoy a good nibble, Have been invited out for lunch on Saturday by the grandparents and couldn't really say no. Now I've got an end date I want every day to count but also see it as training for when I start coming off the diet to be able to chose healthy options when I eat out or I'll soon be back in fat pants. Need to get out of the lingering thought that when the diet ends I can have all the lovely things that are currently off limits.

I feel like I've been eating and eating and eating for some reason everything I'm invited to or involved in revolves around food I have made some good choices and some super bad ones am back to feeling sluggish and tired. Still set for doing another month on TS and am looking forward to getting back in to ketosis. Have been too scared to step on the scales am fearing a 2- 3lb gain on Weds.

Hey Kate

Just been reading your diary you've done really well :) I had a falling off the wagon too (last Friday) and yep it showed on the scales :S hopefully most of it is just water weight and will be off soon :) Sure yours will be too :)
I'm sure you can do another month TS and think how nice it will be to be 1 stone lighter at the end of it!! :D

Good luck!!!

I lost 1lb......Am worried it will set a precident in my head that it's ok to cheat, although in the past week I have been really busy and active every day. On the other hand it's frustrating to think how much closer to the 11's I would be now. It's my birthday next friday so this week I need a good loss and the only way that will hapen is if I stick to plan.

Mmm - I do know what you mean. But then it does show on the scales cos maybe we could have lost more this week if we'd been 100%. I don't really like the word 'cheat' as it makes me feel really guilty. I prefer to think of it as 'unhelpfully suplemented'!

I popped over to stalk the atkins board for a while but my weight loss has stalled so I'm back and ready to start working solutions tomorrow with the aim to start TS next week. Have also read pig to twig and bought the cookbook seemed a bit easier going than reading the atkins book I am Laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaazzzzzzzyyyyyyyyy! all is not lost I reached my first goal of fitting in to my uniform now my new goal is to be either 10 stone or a size 10 by september!

I lost 9lb in my first week, was very happy. Now in week 2 and my goal is to stay off the scales for 7 days. Not expecting such a big loss in week 2. Good luck

I'm finding it really hard to get back in to I manage ok during the week with working solutions but as soon as the weekend arrives it just goes totally out of the window. So here goes to having 2 packs a day for the next week!

My new box has arrived and I'm all set for round 2!

This Exante malarky's hard work especially if you dont do it properly and be realistic with yourself about your "little binges" this week's not been a total washout but have been stuck bouncing between the same 6lbs for the last 3 months and it's driving me mad! I resolve to keep my diary and write the naughties in here so today.......... a chicken fajita wrap (sainsburys) can of tuna with a dollop of mayo bar and a shake.....Hardly any water. Tomorrow I'll do better and stop writing whiney posts!

Lmao you wanna see whiney come over to my diary ;) I also have been circling the sane weight for months :( damn these cravings

I have been doing Exante on and off for a year on the 15th Feb, admittedly more off than on. I didn't think that I would come back having found it quite difficult to stick to. Am currently at the start of my 3rd week and have lost 9lb doing a mixture of ts and ws. It feels quite different this time it has just slotted in quite nicely I don't have any of the enormous food cravings that I suffered on my last attempts and using ws stops me going crazy and pigging out by planning a meal not just cracking and stuffing anything I find in my mouth. I look forward to the rest of my journey and being a part of this forum again. So for my 1 year annivesary I aim to weigh 11'7lb that will make my total weight loss 42lb.
