It's a new Jax attack!

Ooooh Debbie-
You are the Star! Truely:)
. Just a tiny step away from the 12's-no more 'teens' for you!
That is an amazing acheivement.

I have read many posts where people have been on AAM week and they have all lost. I am sure you will lose, too, and give your metabolism the boost it may need.;)

And a big thank you for being a consistent support to me-it is hugely appreciated. My first goal is to lose just over 30kgs-that will make me 99kgs -so, out of the 100's !! After that milestone being acheived ,I will reset my Ticker. Ikg down-only another 29 to go!! No probs!!

Hoorah!
Heard from CD counsellor in Woolwich-which isn't too far for me to travel to. So will be getting started very soon-though have been using Tesco milkshakes the past couple of days-will be relieved to get hold of some of that Velvet chocolate in a Tetra stuff! Mmmmmmm.

Good morning all,
Woke up feeling hungry today and a little bit on the weak side but, I had already booked annual leave for today and tomorrow expecting to feel a bit 'rough' around this time!

Lost a few pounds ,too-so am pleased :)
I have ,also, woken up with a rash that looks like Chicken Pox:eek: It may be an allergy to something but, I will let you know. How odd!! I have a couple of spots on my face-quite a few on both arms and a few on my tummy.:(

Just having a coffee then popping back to bed as the day is mine for being lazy-so will watch a bit of day time TV-haven't seen any of that in months!

Hope you are all well and Good Luck RussianDoll on your first day at University.

Jax

PS A couple or so, hours have passed since I noted the spots and they seem to be going-must have been an allergy or heat rash?
Phew! Lucky.

It's a struggle today-hence many posts!

Just got out of my bed after watching some TV. On 'Loose Women' Colleen Nolan is looking fab-she says she has lost 2st 5lbs on a 'liquid only' diet, over the past 4 weeks . She describes having to be on it 100 days-so we all know what she's doing!!

She looks years younger and just what I needed to see, whilst laying on my bed feeling a bit weak.

Anyway, up now-just made a sugar free jelly as I haven't made an appointment with my new counsellor yet-will phone her this evening for a start date-so I am using Tesco shakes (low GI) , sugar free jelly and the odd Atkins bar.

Blimey-I make it sound like I have been doing this for days! It's only day 3 but, so happy made it to Day 3 !! Yippee!:D

Hiya Jax,
just thought I'd pop in and see how you're doing... :D

well done on getting to day 3, and if going to bed and logging on here gets you through, then carry on doing just that!

what are the tesco gi shakes your'e using? Never heard of them, are they low carb too???

keep on shaking girlie, you're doing just fab dahlin! :p

Hello Geri !

Day 3 nearly completed. Lol. I know it's only 4pm but, wont be giving in now!!

Booked tomorrow off ,too-just to make sure I can give myself the best start!

Tesco do a Lo-GI index (?) shakes (57p)-just had a strawberry one. I think they are low on any sugars, 215 cals,27.3g carb-so still higher than CD's 13 gr per shake but, better than SlimFast!

Tesco do a Carb Control shake,too(£1.10) but, I find them disgusting!! They are 170 cals and only 1.2gr sugar!
Might try the last 2 of those shakes that I have left to see if they have grown on me!

Keep having lustful thoughts about Chocolate Fountains!! I am sure it will pass!

Good morning,
Well, I am out of the 20's-Yay!!!:D
19.13 this morning and it's Day 4 today. It has been a bit of a struggle-mostly on Day 1 when I had forgotten I had promised to go to friends Bar-B-Que-did a bit of damage there but, clearly not much.

But, that was then and this is now and I am no longer 20 stone plus! :D

So glad I booked yesterday and today off as I haven't needed to go to shops or even go out, laid down when I felt a bit weak and generally just listened to my body.

Anyway, I still have a long journey but, am so relieved to have lost some weight and have the conviction to carry on.:)

I only have one moan-the mount of times I got up in the night to go to the loo ! Oh I could have cried around the 6th time! Lol

Jax

Wow jax,
thanks for all the info on the shakes :D

Soo pleased for you that your'e now under 20stones - that is a huge acheivement, hold onto that feeling when the going gets tough :D

Here's to a successful day 4 for you :p

Thanks Geri,
Definitely a 'relieved' feeling being out of the 20's-I may only be a pound away from the 20 mark but, I am focusing on being 'only' 14lbs away from the 18's !

Oooh tickets have just arrived to go and see the Paul O'Grady show next Monday. Looking forward to that.!

Brilliant start Jax !!!!!:D

I spoke too soon-just had a chocolate muffin, a proper one and then a packet of crisps followed by a small galaxy bar.
Whats that all about??

It was purely emotional eating and now I feel physically sick and very disappointed in myself-and that hurts most of all.

It was a strange feeling-I had the thought about the chocolate and then the feeling just took over me. I said out loud to myself " I don't need this"-yet still got changed, brushed my hair and took the 20 minute walk of shame to the shop. It was strange because as I was putting the items in my basket -a feeling of calm came over me-like the bad eating is a comfort zone.

But, I know I have made a huge mistake because my body has got sugar flying about and tomorrow will be twice as hard but, I will do it. One mad hour could have cost me dearly.
Grrr-so angry with myself.

Hello.
Had a much better day today and had a 'word' with myself, promising the next time I get the mad urge to have sweet things, I will come on here and talk it through.

Thought about it again today-for just a minute or two, then I reminded myself how awful I felt last night and it's just not worth it.
I could feel the sugar invading my body and this morning I woke up with an aching body-I know it was down to eating rubbish yesterday evening.

And, of course, my weight shot up 3lbs!!! But, I will soon have that gone.
Hope you are all well-really looking forward to losing my first stone!!

Jax

Good morning,
Phew! Back into 19's -wont be making that mistake again!
Though I have to say temptation is constantly on my mind-I guess I have to accept it always will be.!!!!!

Awoke quite hungry, so having a coffee with some milk in it as a comforter.

I will have a milkshake when I get to work-have got a few of the Tesco shakes left, so will use those till I see Counsellor , hopefully, at the weekend.

Hope you are all well-it's going to be 28 degrees today, though I am happy to say I am feeling a tad cold at times! A good sign!

Keep well.

Good morning all,
Had another blip yesterday-I don't want to go through this diet/journey having blips!! Grrrr!

Then I read Icemooses' message about the 2 types of people who do the diet and I don't want to be a 'prisoner', so I will try my hardest to enjoy this diet and the rewards it brings. It's not for life-though I do know I will never eat the way I have, which was mainly cakes and sweets-then in between that I would eat well, lots of fruit, veg and organic this and that. Pointless when I ate all the other rubbish!

So, luckily I am another pound down-making 8lbs from the 20.6. I am now 19.12lbs this morning and feeling optimistic.
Have a good day and keep well, everyone.

Hi Jax
Just thought I'd send a quick message of support. I truly admire the way you never give up: you never fail all the time you keep trying.

It's a major psychological milestone when you get out of the 20s ... I remember it well. Keep battling on Jax - never let go of your dream: you WILL get to where you want to be and we'll all be there cheering for you when you do.

Big hugs coming your way.
Stick to the diet JUST FOR TODAY .... think about tomorrow TOMORROW.

xx

Bless ya, Debbie !
I am soooooo determined to stick to this -I have realised there will always be a 'reason' to eat, someones' birthday, open day at work, a Bar-B-Que,etc. So, those excuses don't count anymore.

I started on Saturday and fell at the first post-had a party to go to the same evening.

Did well for 2 days and crashed again. So, could have lost more than the 8lbs I have now lost but, I am grateful for this loss as it has inspired me to carry on-so all is not lost from those big mistakes.

Will have a Counsellor by Tuesday and I am sure I will be flying by then.
Don't want to fail myself again as it is soul destroying.

Would it be too rude to ask you, Debbie, what your starting weight was? You are looking fabulous by the way, and a true inspiration.!

Keep well
Love
Jax

Hiya Jax

At my heaviest I was 21st 12lb but I was 18st 13lb when I started CD on March 24th.

That's because I'd dieted DOWN to 15st 2lb (with Rosemary Conley) and then lost the plot and put 4st of it back on again over a period of 2 years. Luckily I came to my senses and put the brakes on at 18st 13lb before I regained it ALL.

Hope you're feeling strong and motivated today Jax :)

Hello RussianDoll,
That is an amazing acheivement. Phew!:)
I am so motivated I think I could bottle it and give it out!!!;) Oh Yes !!!!

I wouldn't be so motivated if it wasn't for stories like yours-so a BIG THANK YOU for sharing your journey. Priceless.

Well done Jax,

Over a half stone off is fantastic and in the 19's is excellent.

Here is to another good week ahead.

Love Mini xxx

Thanks Mini,
Slowly getting to grips with things. After my PMA last night, I have come down with a bang today!

Feeling quite hungry and a bit low-so I am busily tidying, emptying out cupboard drawers and drinking lots.

It will pass and tomorrow I will be so pleased I didn't give into the chocolate that is only a short walk away!! I did that last weekend and suffered badly for it. Put 3 or 4lbs back in in less than 24 hours-as you do before you deplete your Glycogen levels.

Stay well and strong everyone:)
