Jan 2012 Exercise Challenge

i went to pool tonight and it was closed for a gala.. :( so i went bowling, which i wouldnt really count as exercise.. but i did 3 songs on Dancing Stage, which definitely was a workout for me (love it, and i do standard to difficult so bounce about like a rhino on a trampoline :p) which is about 10 mins.. so im claiming it as i feel cheated out of my swim :(

Evening all. Went to my usual 1 hour dance class and there was a substitute teacher. Omg she worked us hard:eek: then 20 mins in the gym.
Whole day off tomorrow....but only because im stuck in an assessment ALL day:(

One hour body conditioning class this morning - not quite as tortuous as the body combat, but still hard going (probably because I am so unfit!). Is anybody out these an 'apple' shape and really struggles with any sort of exercise that requires lifting upper body off the floor eg press-ups, sit-ups, etc. I find because I am top heavy (big boobs, flabby stomach) these exercises are agonising and although I try to push myself, I invariably end up giving in before most of the class. I know it might be because my arms or my abs are not yet strong enough to support my upper body so I will keep trying. I know, I know - no pain, no gain!

Alright my lovelies... Not been able to do much as I've hurt my knee ( it's been on going, but like a nut played one of the dance games on the xbox with my neices- sweet Jesus hard work or what!!), coupled with being incredibly busy at work... So I've really missed you all!!

Anyway managed an hour today so onwards and upwards it is :)!!

i'm not top heavy, but i do carry most of my weight on my stomach. I find upper body exercises in general very difficult because over the years ive done no exercise, so only my legs have coped with the weight as i have to walk on them sometime! :p

i'm working on building strength in my arms and upper body at the mo, because I cant plank, press up, tricep dip.. i'm useless at the mo! :p x
