Water under the bridge Daisy :)

Will have to check out your RTM log, I've decided to go to RTM instead of doing another week. Meeting is tomorrow night.

Think I've made the right decision, especially as I nearly fainted today whilst serving a customer. The dizzy spells are more frequent and a good indication that I'm ready (as well as the fact that I'm wearing my size 12s comfortably - except a couple of pairs of jeans :().

hi westie
sounds like you are ready for RTM - good luck with it.
i have just had a yogurt and feel stuffed and i still need another foodpack, its strange - i prefer just being on 4 packs, simpler!

Thanks Daisy.

I know what you mean about packs - when I did Lite it was a bit of a bind to have to prepare food and make decisions some days

Woken up today and just done my weekly home WI and measurements and it feels a bit weird that these are the "final" figures. It's a bit scary because I love that high you get when you WI in see the scales drop each week. I know that I need to transfer that to the high of seeing the scales stay the same now

Westie - enjoy the tastes and head adjustment for weight maintenance. You have done brilliantly. With a bit of toning exercise I'm sure those jeans will be fitting you perfectly.

Daisy - Well done on your healthy attitude to the weekend away. Life is for living and you are at the stage where you are learning how to incorporate food back into a full and active life. You know and acknowledge what you ate and why. It was a concious decision (mostly?) and that is what I am learning is the most important aspect of RTM and future maintenance.

I love the four packs routine too. It was always the decision making process that let me down in previous diets. I KNOW what I SHOULD be eating, but would go for the tastier, easier options that piled the pounds back on. RTM will be a big earning curve for me and a test of how effective the CBT has been. Still got a few months to work on it though.
xx

Whooooohoooooo!!!!!

Go Westie, Go Westie, Go Westie - well done you & welcome to RTM

Nice attitude Daisy, easier to say than to really believe but as you said, the key to successful management is just that, maintaining within a range with a healthy non-panic attitude to losses, gains and STS

Westie - awesome result. Enjoy RTM!

A much better 3.5lb loss for me this week. That's just 8.5lb in 4 weeks where I have been losing a consistent 13-14lb each 4 weeks. Still not sure why.

Has anyone else had a plateau?

Celebrate the losses T_I I know it's frustrating when they slow, but it's still coming off.

A few people have slowed when well into LL, I think sometimes the body just needs to catch-up; also make sure your water intake is still high enough as sometimes this slips and losses drop as a result.

my RTM week 9 WI - and STS, which I'm actually really pleased with.

Glad you had another good loss TI. I have had slow times (and I did last time as well). Both my old and new LLCs suggested the change in the weather because the warmer weather over the few weeks triggers the body to hold onto water.

Well done on the STS Sean, looks like you're stabilising off now :D

Thanks Sean and Westie.

Feeling much more focused and positive today as I managed to get into some size 16 trousers AND I realised I am now lighter than I was at a pre-knee op weigh-in in June 1991!

I think I have recovered my perspective and realise how far I have come in just 5 months.

Thanks for the support. I have no doubt that you all play a large part in keeping me on track. xx
