I have got ketostix to check for ketosis, so I might try a jelly a day as an experiment to see if I stay in ketosis.

What do you think?

Hahaha and what about chicken satay skewers?!
Only joking but we are as bad as each other!!
x

It's just that I ate loads including 3 chicken butties, biscuits and sweets on sunday and still lost half a stone this week so maybe a jelly would be ok. just one a day. I'll try and let you know what the ketostix says...lol

Oooo you're puttin bad ideas into my head :(
Chicken satay skewers are ALL i can think about!!

I read somewhere that roast beef, roast potatoes, yorkshire puddings, parsnips, carrots, mange tout and sweetcorn are ok on this diet, but, and it is a BIG but, only if you follow it up with a whole tub of Haagen Dazs!!

SORRY!! lol x x x

Mmmmmmmmmmmm x

Hahahaha!!
I'm the same, always searching for little cheateries!! :)
Let us know how it goes Carrie.

I don't think the problem is the eg. Coke Zero, Jelly, Gum etc it's what it leads to....in my opinion (and my seven thousand six hundred and forty nine attempts on Lipotrim that is)

Can we really have coke zero????

It wont knock you outta Ketosis but will slow down your
weightloss, which is kinda why we're all here.

Most people here have a problem with food, cravings,
giving in to them cravings, hence most have
tried normal "healthy eating" diets and failed.

Its called TFR - Total Food Replacement for a reason guys!
If you cant stop giving into your cravings while
your "on" Lipotrim sure as fuk your gonna pile the
weight straight back on after it, if your lucky
to reach the end in the 1st place!

Whats the point going thru this process which is hard
enough for months on end only to fail it???
I'd rather do 12 weeks strict, its 12 weeks outta my
life to change my life i.e my weight and eating habits.

In saying that I completley agree that its better to
have a sneaky Coke Zero for example when your
on the very verge of breaking the diet in order to
stay afloat and on it.
But we aint even talking about trying here,
its just cheat right from the start.

It just seems to me that theres more "cheating" threads
all over the forums lately then there is encouraging ones
to each other to remain 'strict'.

Which at the end of the day folks is what its all about.
Cleansing the palate and breaking away from the
unhealthy urges that we couldnt control
which has us all here in the 1st place.....cold...hungry...
& dreaming of solid food lol.

Im gonna keep the Bullioon & the Coke Zero as my backup
plan to not caving in when the food urges get too great.
If your already using them from day 1 then whats yur backup plan!

My 2c anyways ;)

Lipotrim really does cleanse your pallet. Before Lipotrim, I would easily drink 2 litres of diet coke a day. Since I reached goal, I have tried diet coke once, and HATED IT! I couldn't believe it! I have continued to drink water which I very rarely did before Lipotrim.
You should use your time on TFR to think about your eating/drinking habits and planning on how you are going to change once you reach goal in order to maintain

Thats it right there in a nutshell

I have to say that i agree with you Big Biker, but i don't think anything prepares you for the monotony of this diet... For some people on it, they can vary their shakes and still cope well with them (adding coffee and/or sweeteners for example) but i really cannot do that.. Although i know this is the best diet for losing the weight quickly, if i sit and think that i have at least another 2 months of cold water and slushy shakes (that's the only way i can take them) it makes me feel as if i can't continue long term...

It is fecking freezing and miserable outside, so my only "cheat" is bouillon... I have that daily, and am drinking it on the understanding that if it affects my weight loss to the extent that i only lose 2lbs on consecutive weeks, i will stop taking it and hope that i will get back on track. But sometimes, as i think the vast majority of us do, I want a tiny bit of variety that i can tolerate or enjoy... I still want to lose the weight but i would feel the same if i had a portion of chips 3 times a day every day for 3-4 months and varied whether i had salt, vinegar, ketchup or mayonnaise on them...

I don't call it a "cheat" (although i appreciate some people do). I was struggling and can honestly say now that i feel almost "normal" again because psychologically i am having soup.. This means that no matter what i feel about the shakes i can have a lovely hot drink of an evening. As i say, i will not keep it up if it proves to interfere drastically with my weight loss.

Sorry for the rambling!! lol

Charlies Angel can you come and live with me and be my mentor?? :D
I neeeed to stick this out grrrrr to my stupid idiocy!

I lost 8stone in 6months on this amazing diet and didn't cheat, now it's my first week and I'm a basket case :"(

I need guidance from the Lipotrim Gods!!

Sorry for the rambling!! lol

Not at all I enjoyed reading it lol :D

As I mentioned in my own rambling I wouldnt be
against using anything as a crutch that actually
helps someone to keep going.

We've all gotta decide for ourselves whether we
should or shouldnt, and although from what you've just
said you are using it for the "right" reasons lets
say, but with others the sweet Coke taste will lead
to a Cakefest lol.

And Im not typing with a holier than tho attitude, Im on
day 5 of my restart and am lucky enough to have
zero hunger pains or headaches etc.
Yet on day 3 I had a packet of popcorn, last night I
was tempted to have some roast chicken breast
which also wouldnt affect Ketosis,
hell theres loads of stuff we can actually eat if you
check hard enough, but if we all start that lark then
it'll be full on Sunday dinners by the weekend lol :D

You might aswell just do a normal healthy eating diet
or low carb diet even if thats the case.

The point of this regime i.e. a VLCD whatever the brand
is to do more than just loose weight fast.

Ive read of people who went to Cambridge or Exante
VLCD's and some failed as they were grand on the
bland Lipo just treating it as medicine etc but when they
switched to the others their whole tastebuds came alive
and smack bang back into their previous unhealthy food obsession.
One lady even said although the other one was
gorgeous she came back to Lipo as it would lead her astray.
i.e. eating a choccy bar instead of a shake was just
too much like normality etc.

I personally "Loved" the Choc Lipo shakes to a point I'd buy
em just as a normal shake lol, but with our Irish chemists
basically ripping us off with a huge price difference between
the UK costs I switched to another
VLCD and am enjoying the bars, meals & much much
better tasting shakes themselves,
Im fearing it will have be back eating normal foods again
due to my tastebuds that went dead or clean
for a better word on Lipo having me thinking of food
alot more than when I was on Lipo.

If your finding Lipo so hard that you are sure that
you wont stay out to the end then maybe look at some
of the others available.

It suits some but not others.

I just reckon theres too much food talk going on here
in the Lipo threads and in fairness when you have people
who have made bad decisions on what they should or
should not eat for years now, not tempting them with Sweet Coke or
Savoury Soup is hardly a no-brainer lol

Maybe we should have a "Super Cheating Thread" where all
the info is there so that at least anyone reading it will know
the full ins&outs, the good & the bad or warning them to
be aware of where it can lead to...

in other words the following items can be "Unofficially" used as
a crutch to stop temptation in times of need, use them,
but be warned & informed etc.

More encouragement and less shortcuts I reckon ;)

Big Biker you're so right!!
We need to STOP food talk, I cheated on chicken tonight :(

We all need to be more motivated and big tough nuts!!
Well I do haha!!

I'm in Ireland too, what product are you using Biker??
I have Target Slim shakes too but they are ABSOLOUTLY GROTESQUE, VILE PUTRID! But they are medicine :p

I agreed with the whole bullion thing as a means to a last resort, but i agree there are way too many food-related can we - can't we threads. Keep to the rules and we'll be just fine :)

Totally brilliant post !

I totally agree Big Biker.

I started with the "one" coke zero every other day on Wednesday, had 3 on Thursday and then a packet yes a PACKET of biscuits last night :( Its obvious for me anyway that the odd coke zero leads to bigger naughtier things. Im soooo peed off with my self!
So from today, NO coke zero, NO chicken breast here or there, im 100% Lipotrim , gees ive only got 7 weeks left till i go to Fife so i gotta be at my goal for that!

Please just remeind me of this when i say how starving i am, or how much i NEED a chicken breast lol
