Kingleds Food Diary - help needed!

Yesterday was not a great day on the food front. Hubby took me out for lunch ( i think he may have sneaky peaked my moan about him on here) and its safe to say I did not even try to stick to plan. We shared a platter of min pies, sausages, scampi, chips, mini fish in batter (which I did actually not eat) and a few onions rings. Plus 2 glasses of wine
However, I also did not eat for the rest of the day as I was so full.So could have been worse.

So, red days maostly this week i reckon.

Was starving this morning so ended up eating my little bag of carrots, peppers and 42g feta cheese (HEA1) in the car on the way to work!

Breakfast: Pineapple, strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, a mullerlight, anbd 35g fruit & fibre (HEB1)

Lunch: Piri Piri Chicken breast Lettuce, peppers, carrots, radish, celery, tomatoes

Dinner: Pork & Paprika One Pot (pork, red onion, aubergine, tomatoes, garlic) with roasted butternut squash, and broccoli.

HEB2 - Hifi bar

You're right - it could have been worse. You have 5 whole days to recover and I'm sure you'll do fine.

Dinner sounds delicious!!
Might have to point me to that recipe....

Xxx

Fab loss last week - well done!! I lasted 2 days on WW and it made me really appreciate how great SW is. Hope you have a good week.

Thanks Beegee. It didn't suit me at all but loads of people do well on it so it must work!

Went to the gym last night & it was HARD. But at least I did it, and I've noticed its damn sight easier to stick to plan when I go to the gym in the evening cos by the time I've got back and eaten its 9pm and no way I want to eat anything else. The Paprika one Pot Pork thingy was Lovely, but I think it needed more paprika so will add some more next time I make it.

Food plan for today. Red day again.

Breakfast
An Omlette, 2 BGTY Sausages (1 syn) tomatoes and mushrooms

Hifi bar (HEB1)

Lunch: Salmon Salad (lettuce, cucumber, radish, tomato, pepper, beetroot)

Dinner: Chicken stuffed with mozzerella (HEA) wrapped in parma ham (3 slices- 1.5 syns) with new potatoes roasted in frylight (198g HEB2) and roasted vegetables (aubergine, courgette, pepper, red onion). I'm only having the new potatoes cos I can't really think of a red day replacement for them other than butternut squash, and i had that last night. Any one got any ideas which don't involve celeriac?

Some asdditional syns today. 2 syns for olives & 2 for some graze box cracker thingys that were alright. Got the munchies & all I have with me is a mugshot (not worth the syns on a red day) and plums (not gonna cut it). Or there is the biscuit barrell, which I have looked in 3 times already and not eaten any of yet. Agggghhhhh

Oh I love my graze boxes-got one on the way for tomorrow-can't check what is in it for some reason tho! Glad to see your back into the swing of sw! I'm really enjoying it to be honest :) xxx

Oh I'm with you all I failed on WW constantly hungry and searching for food I can't have 26 is nothing when u have to count almost everything! I'm bk to SW clas tomorrow cannot wait!

I think WW requires much more willpower than I have tbh! Just cos you can use your points on subway doesn't mean you should! That was my problem with it anyway. I much prefer the more restricted nature of SW. That sounds a bit mental I imagine :)

Last nights food was fine. I unfortunately drank a bottle of wine with my mate as she has just lost her job & needed some cheering up. Plus I got a serious attack of the munchies & ate both the graze boxes I had left at work - each worth 10 syn. So safe to say I was over by some way yesterday. Just as well I stick to 10 a day usually as that might mean the damage isn't too bad. Fingers crossed anyway - 3 days before weigh in.

Food plan today - red day

Breakfast: bowl of fruit (mango, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries) with 35g fruit & fibre (heb1) & a miller light yogurt.

Lunch: don't know yet. Am at a meeting with the boss who said we would go to lunch afterwards. I will pick a salad of some description wherever we go.

Of to the gym after work

Dinner:basque chicken stew from the world of flavours book with roasted butternut squash & mediterranean veg (courguette, Aubergine, pepper, red onion.

Trying to stay away from dairy as its apparently not good for sinus problems. Can't wait to get to the docs tomorrow morning & get it properly checked out.

True to form, my boss cancelled lunch. So I had a salmon salad, with lettuce, cucumber, tomato, peppers, radish, picked onion & beetroot. Plus a banana

I managed to read that as "trying to stay away from diary" and wondered how posting your food on here was affecting your sinuses!

I realised last night that if i'm cutting dairy out in the short term I shouldn't be having the muller light. Rubbish. Looked up dairy free yogurts & they are all Syns as well. Double rubbish.

So, need to get my thinking cap on for breakfasts.

Todays food plan - red day

Breakfast: omelette with tomatoes & mushrooms

Lunch: tuna & egg salad (cucumber, lettuce, tomato, radish, celery,Peppers

Dinner. Mixed grill. 2 hm burgers in 2 wm rolls (2 x heb) with 1/2 a gammon steak, tomatoes, onions & mushrooms.

If I can get to a supermarket to buy some dairy free cheese I'll use my hea's on that,

Hope it goes ok at the docs and they can sort it out xxx

Me too! Getting bored with it all now! I even resorted to the cider vinegar option yesterday. Was NOT pleasant.

Forgot to add my Syns for last night. Had 2.5 Syns of chorizo with my dinner. Didn't fancy any others last night.

So the doc says I have polyps & even though i am not supposed to take decongestant he told me to use a sudafed nasal spray, and then a becanase nasal spray twice a day for a week, then the becanase on its own for a further 3 weeks. If that doesn't work he might refer me to an ENT specialist.

Rather worryingly when I went to chemist and asked for both he looked rather alarmed that I would be taking the 2 together.

Anyway, syns today - digestive biscuit & a highlights. 6 syns
