I interviewed a dentist last week and he said that Denplan was a complete waste of money
as so much isn't covered.....Just sharing info......

Got the feeling mine thought the same and the dental nurse said pretty much nothing relating to specialist treatment is covered.

Thanks hun, have you ever had any teeth out? That's what I'm worried about. They can plane my roots as much as they like, but I hate the thought of having a tooth pulled out. It's revolting. The mere thought of it makes me want to throw up!

Got my appointment tomorrow at 11am to be shown how to keep them ultra clean and discuss treatment. Am surprisingly chilled about it at the moment. Am just looking forward to not having bleeding gums any more.

Had a massive blood blister in my mouth today that burst at work. Hoping that's not something to do with it Will ask tomorrow.

Dentist in town, going with BF, so will nip into Holland & Barrett and see if they have any healthy tasty bits and pieces!

Sending good wishes for tomorrow. I am seriously un-keen on dentists, but if a tooth needs to go, let them take it - they will only do so if there is no alternative, and they'd then give you a bridge or whatever, it is not as scary as you'd imagine. Let's hope that isn't necessary though. It's good that they have caught this problem now, while they can do something about it... you will have a bright, beautiful, HEALTHY smile before too long hun.

Hey everyone, sorry not been on - my laptop died and I spent far too long trying to fix it, only to realise it's way beyond me, so it's in hospital being looked at!

I have ordered a new one, but it won't be here till 10th December, so only have access at work and been too busy to come on!

Hope everyone is well. Had a brief lurk but got a few meetings this afternoon, as well as interview feedback to take, so can't stop.

Dentist was great - my gums have stopped bleeding for the first time in about 3 years after he showed me in depth cleaning! Very pleased.
Got root planing booked in for 6th January and he assures me that I won't feel a thing and he'll pump me full of anesthetic!

Hopefully get back online soon, but big hugs to everyone in the meantime and thanks for checking in xxx

Glad to hear things going well for you hun, apart from the dead laptop. How annoying, i think i'd rather chop my arm off.... mine lives on my dining table and is permanently on, use it for all sorts of things. Wouldn't even know how to begin fixing it if it broke. Take care xx
