:8855:I just asked my OH to pick out 2 meals for tomorrow and tuesday completely randomly and he picked home made burgers as 1 choice, and home made pizza as his next choice. We was well chuffed! There were 16 choices and those are the best 2 by far!

Well, as April comes to an end, I think this has been a good month for me, although at times it didn't feel like it! I lost 7.5lbs this month, the most I have lost in any month since starting, so I am really pleased with that :D I have already done an hour of exercise this week, and my body can really feel it (ache!). I am feeling proud of myself, and I hope I don't let myself done this month. I am going to focus on each month at a time, and hopefully keep looking at the bigger picture. One blow out isn't a deal-breaker, I am learning that I can make the odd mistake and lose weight long-term.

I still need to work on a few things, I'm not pretending I've got this sussed! I have been reading about mindful eating, I am definitely going to try this for a month and see how I go. I am still trying to implement all of the metabolism advice I read. I still need to drink more water, I stocked up on green tea today, so we'll see how that pays off. I kinda like experimenting with different things, and i figure these ones can do no harm. I seem to be eating around 4 times a day most often, would be good to spread this food out a bit more into 5, but I'm not sure how practical that is. I will just focus on keeping up 4 for now, but plan for 5 :)

STS for me today. Do you ever just FEEL heavy within yourself? I have all day. Also, I had a mark on my wrist when I took off my watch, which I never have, so can only assume I have some water retention going on. I might be due TOTM too, I have an implant so who knows really :)

But I am feeling ok with a STS surprisingly, as I know I was good, so will probably (hopefully) make up for it next week. I am going to make sure I drink more this week, I say that every week though, but I mean it this time :D

Deffo sounds like you have water retention chick. Tis a pain in the aris being a woman sometimes, but I'm sure your hard work will sneak up and bite you on the bum next week :D You're doing great btw xx

Thanks corkscrew :) I don't usually take it this well, but I can just feel i am heavy today, usually my STS is unexpected. Thanks for complimenting my food, I feel so self-conscious putting it online, especially the purple ones! :D

It does sound like you have water retention is your wrist are swollen....DRINK DRINK DRINK! It really does make a difference. I'm sure you're gonna have a double loss next week. I have the implant in too so dont get periods. Do you still think that you get bloating etc every month?? Hmmm never thought about it xx

Sorry I missed your post Lizzy, I didn't mean to ignore you :)

I still have occassional periods, and yes, I think some people do say they still fluctuate weight/water-retention on a 4 week cycle when they have the implant. I read it here somewhere the other day on here. I keep meaning to look for a pattern in my losses/gains but i havent gotten round to it yet. Maybe tomorrow when the weekend starts :D
