LoChan's diary - hello!

:happy096::happy096::happy096::happy096::happy096::happy096::happy096:

well done lo, bet you are so pleased xx

I was really pleased in the my cheeks kinda hurt from grinning way lol

And I've managed that while eating stuff like this:
Pancakes.jpg

But I've also been beating the crap out of one of these:

Three time a week for 20 mins, seems to be quite effective cardio!

AMAZING!!!! You need to tell me exactly what you did and ate?! LOL :D

Well I've been keeping my food diary in here - I've done four EE, two green and one red day this week. Think the mixing it up like that plus starting cardio exercise along with yoga seems to be working very well.

I assume this is the 'synergistic effect' the SW books go on about, magical body and the whatnot lol

Hey Lo! just read your diary wanted to say a huge well done on this weeks loss :)

Thanks Aaliyah, I think starting the diary was a good idea, it seems to have paid off this week anywho!

hi, hope you dont mind me popping in for a read.. firstly, well done on those 6lbs.. thats amazing and must be such a boost to keep you going 100% :)

that aviator jacket you like is beautiful.. and if i were you, i'd be thinking it was worth the treat for staying 100% - maybe buy it in the next size down as an incentive? That means you can wear it from snug to being loose.. especially with winter coming up - there'll be room for a jumper or a scarf underneath, so plenty of time to get wear out of it? :)

Thanks Rach - you're more than welcome to pop in lol

I've been thinking the same thing about the jacket, was wondering if I should wait until I reached my 10% first (17 more lbs to go :() but I don't want it to go out of stock on me. Methinks I shall put an order in for it next week with some funky wellies - going for these but not picked the pattern:

They're a bit mad looking either way but they're lined so think they'd be more cosy than plain ones. Going to start walking to my son's school every weekday afternoon which is just under three miles so the wellies should stop me making excuses when it's raining, in theory :D

Still buzzing from my WI result but physically feeling wrecked - been stood up in the kitchen all day with cooking (albeit the food was gorgeous!). I've got feet issues atm with plantar facilitis and it's really flared up from the standing and my lower back and sciatic nerve seems not best pleased with me either :(

Aside from the little bit of agony (hohum lol) I've felt really content today. Didn't do the davina workout with the aching but did a half hour of yoga to help stretch my back out a bit, hopefully things will have calmed down with sleep and I'll do the davina stuff tom'ow.

Today's food - EE

Breakfast - Pancakes (hexb + 0.5syns) with chopped nectarines and syrup (1syn)

Lunch - Speed soup with lots of tabasco, small bowl of tuna & bean pasta salad.
Eton Mess (4syns)

Tea - Lily42UKs' chicken dhansak recipe, steamed broccoli, okra and red pepper, 2 poppadoms (3.5 syns) and 1tbsp spicy tomato & apple chutney (1syn -also Lily's recipe). Tea was FAB! With a WW dessert yoghurt for pud.

Evening - the trusty milky coffee (hexa).

Tomorrow will be pretty much the same food apart from brekkie, shall report in anywho as really think the feeling of accountability helps me stick to things properly :)

Didn't do any pics of today's food - here's one of friday's chicken lasagne though:
Chicken Lasagne.jpg
I was thinking wow this is kinda huge, should I be eating this the day before WI but I guess it turned out okay!

Night folks x

loving the wellies!! i love the flowery ones!

hope the pain subsides soon.

your chicken lasagne sounds lovely! never thought of doing that.

Hope you have a good day

that lasagne looks lovely.. i think you're okay to eat that because you have defo got the 1/3 superfree on your plate!

As for the wellies i vote the red flowery ones :) theyre lush! xxx

The wellies will be mine! :woohoo:

I was leaning towards the flower ones too, the giraffe ones are a little bit too outrageous for me lol

I found a 20% off code amongst the pile of catalogues so got my order in today. Ordered the jacket in a size 24 - since I can't do up the coat in the size 26 yet it probably means I'll be saving the jacket until I get to my 10% goal anyway but it'll be an incentive to work harder - shall hang it up on my wardrobe door for inspiration :)

Also splashed out on this cute jumper/tunic to make use of the discount:

b02vx14850w.jpg

I cannot tell the OH how much it all cost

Feeling much better this morning - the retail therapy probably helped!

Just letting brekkie settle than shall go get to work with davina :character00115::whip: then possibly spend the rest of the day bow-legged but with a feeling of accomplishment :D

Hope all are enjoying their bank holiday weekend x

ooh i like that too, its cute! <3

and if you got 20% off then you had to use it really, OH will understand.. me and OH are voucher king and queen.. we dont go anywhere / buy anything without some sort of discount LOL.

makes the purchase even more special i think.. its like, everything is better when its cheap, or even nicer, free! :D

Told the OH I'd ordered the clothes - I just mentioned I'd got a 20% off voucher and managed not to have to tell him any more than that hehe.

Had a good day today - did my 30 mins with Davina though had to leave out some of the squatting and I definitely can't do tricep dips yet. I will though soon enough, gonna work at it :p

Another EE day today:

B - Yoghurt, chopped pear and blueberries

L - Chicken Dhansak, steamed veggies, 2 poppadoms (3.5 syns) and 1 tbsp chutney (1 syn). Yoghurt and blueberries.

Chicken Dhansak.jpg

T - Speed soup (I swear if I don't lose well this week I'll never make this stuff again!), crackerbread (hexb), marmite and cheese (hexa). Japanese cheesecake (5 syns) and strawberries.
Japanese cheesecake & strawberries.jpg

Made the cheesecake myself tweaking an online recipe to be more SW friendly, it turned out really well and I've got three more big pieces to enjoy over the next couple of days muwahaha. Think cheesecake is definitely my pud of choice, I might treat myself to some proper stuff in a few weeks but this is pretty darn good :)

That cheesecake looks absolutely gorgeous! X

Lochan,

I think your Coat idea is FAB!!

I need a new coat for London & I am thinking that I might do the same!!

It would be good motivation for the next 12 weeks!!

Now to find a coat that I like!!! :D LOL

That cheesecake looks absolutely gorgeous! X

It's quite fiddly to make but it's definitely worth the effort :)

I got the recipe from here Japanese Cheesecake (Fluffy & Creamy) - Christine's Recipes: Easy Chinese Recipes

I just used skimmed milk and quark and used half sugar half splenda to cut down the syns (it does need a bit of sugar though otherwise it'll go bleh).

I made half the recipe they gave (as theirs made up two loaf tin cakes) and it came out at 20syns for the whole cake.

I've tried making the really low syn cakes before and I don't like them, I think it's worth spending some syns on something tasty :D

:argh: It's taking me an age to sit down and stand up today - the squats have taken their toll!

But I know it'll stop soon after the first few sessions, it feels great to be getting back into exercise after over a year of doing nothing and regaining weight :d'oh:

Off to do some yoga to stretch out my poor legs. Also contemplating having apple crumble AND japanese cheesecake today, synned of course but still feels a bit naughty :devilangel:

Ooh, do a review of the actifry please. I've been really tempted to buy one too but it seems like a lot of money as it'd only be feeding me lol

My OH and son are really fussy (my son has autism, the OH has no excuse!) so they only eat a couple of meals each over and over again! It's a bit of a pain for me, the freezer's getting a bit full with me having to freeze up portions of curry all the time lol They'll come in handy though :)

L - Sticky maple syrup chicken (2 syns), mash, creamed spinach and carrots. SW apple crumble (6.5 syns) with vanilla yoghurt
