LoChan's diary - hello!

I love jumping in leaves during the autumn whe they're all dry and scrunchy. I used to embarrass my kids when we walked to school and they were trying to be all grown up :D

thank you to you and Jackie for the stuffed peppers idea.. sounds gorgeous :)

good luck with the wii exercise - perfect in this weather :) x

Lo,

Those stuffed peppers looked Yummy!!

When I did SW previously, I also had stuffed peppers... You have reminded me how much I like them!!

They will be in my menu next week!! :)

Hope your having a good week :) xxxx

It's a fab rediscovery isn't it - I hadn't had them for years either, well pleased with Jackie for rustling them up and posting the tempting pic the other week :D

mmm loving all the stuffed pepper ideas. i must have some this week :D

How are you feeling today sweetie? xxxxx

Think I'll be having the greek ones over the weekend :D

Today's been really busy, not stressful or anything but it's like argh where did all my time go  Looking forward to a quiet weekend :)

I love jumping in leaves during the autumn whe they're all dry and scrunchy. I used to embarrass my kids when we walked to school and they were trying to be all grown up :D

Heehee luckily my son still enjoys having a good stomp about in the leaves so I'm not an embarrassment to him (for now) lol

Going to take a couple of pics in the park on the way home from school tomorrow I think - keep seeing lots of women doing the same thing atm as we live in an area with quite wide tree-lined roads so it seems a popular hobby. Lots of lovely colours so it'd be nice to capture them before it's all gone :)

thank you to you and Jackie for the stuffed peppers idea.. sounds gorgeous :)

good luck with the wii exercise - perfect in this weather :) x

They're absolutely lovely Rach - feels like a proper treat. I need to go buy more peppers, glad they seem to have gone down in price a little in the shops of late :)

Ended up not doing wii fit today either  Struggling to find the time at the end of the day and have had to sleep right up to 15 mins before work each morning the last two days 'cause I'm still a little worn out from the cold/cough so no time before work  Eh well!

Mn another pleasant autumny walk to school today. Went to town to meet the OH after work for a mcdonald's tea for him and m'son (I had a cappuccino and a fibre plus bar).

Went to the loo to be greeted by a drunk woman peeing with the loo door open  Got a drunken 'sorry love' - think I came back with 'you're alright', what else can you say really?! Then she started begging me for 'bus fare' while I was trying to have a wee. Tried waiting in the cubicle for her to leave, came out and she'd put her can of special brew in one sink and was stood in front of the other with her trousers halfway up her legs going 'I can't get myself dressed'... I will NEVER be an alcoholic

Mnhmn anywho - food diaries for last 2 days. Ended up having a red day today despite the green week challenge - m'son made me a beefburger and meatballs at school on tuesday and he won't eat them 'cause he's fussy so felt the mother's guilt about chucking 'em. Just counted a couple of syns, might have been more but won't lose any sleep over it :D

Bit of a high syn day today but plenty left for the next two days. Bit PO'd that my hifi bars haven't turned up yet, was hoping they'd show up today as fancied one of the mint ones... running out of fibre plus bars too quickly lol

Back on green for thurs/fri and hopefully I'll get that pumpkin lasagne made tomorrow night for dinner/tea. It's been built up in my mind now so I hope it's tasty :D

Oh yes, WiiFit told me I'm 20 years old today - brilliant lol

Hellooo, i've been reccomended your diary as a good read so adding you to my subs.. haha. Looking forward to reading it all!
xxx

Hiya Kitteh, you're very welcome :D

Just hope m'diary lives up to the recommendation!:eek: xxx

Mheh, trying to stay awake this morning instead of napping before work as need to start a little 'earlier' (well 10am ) today... feel queasy :(

Making up Lily's syn-free rice pudding for breakfast/snacks and am roasting some veg in the oven to make up a pasta sauce for lunch so keeping busy and good food will be there ready for me :)

Got an office day tomorrow though, not sure how I'll manage that foodwise as don't do the eating in front of folks and won't really have time for a lunch between leaving work and picking m'son up from school :sigh: Mn least it will be weekend once the office bit is over with :)

Morning Lo

food looking good am going to do the roast peppers
over the weekend think they will be portable enough
to take to work certainly hope so hahah

hope hifi bars turn up soon I use to love the lemon ones
but haven't seen them for ages

have a nice day hun xx

Hey Lo,
Food looks fabulous, will have to do these peppers myself .. seeing as you and Jackie rave about them, yet another thing I have never had before and there was me thinking I had a very varied diet :giggle:
Hope you're having a fab day ....just one thing not sure if I mentioned this, I didn't like the rice with the nutmeg in so I changed it to mixed spice wasn't such a bitter taste, could leave it out all together if you like but I do recommend adding the plain yoghurt and either honey or golden syrup it was amazing yum yum....now I'm hungry ...:woohoo: it's lunch time, catch ya later my lovely xxxxxxxx

Ooh yes do try them - I'm sure you'll really like them :D

You did mention about the nutmeg. I ended up using some cinnamon and ginger with mine and mixed in a muller greek-style yog with the honeyed apricot compote - t'was very nice and creamy, thank'ee for the recipe :)

Thanks for the loo story. I've had a bad day and that cheered me up :D

Hehe I took an almost obscene pleasure in advising the two women just about to go in as I was leaving 'There's a drunk woman in there, have fun!' :8855:

:wavey: :wavey: all those yummy food photos :D delicious. Hope your office day goes okay tomorrow and don't forget

'thank crunchie its friday ' xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Mn dreading it now actually but indeed thank crunchie it's friday tomorrow - got my mini one ready since the bags of them were bogof for hallow'een :D

don't ya just love a drunk !!!:8855::8855:

have fun tomorrow:eek: could you eat something walking to pick up son or does that count as eating in front of people
(it does for me I can't do it:confused:)

your veggie mozzarella stacks look nice thinking courgette and mushroom would be good so might be trying them this week:D

making jackies cobbler tomorrow which i am really looking forward too :eatdrink023:

I meant to :giggle: about the lady in the loo and forgot.. my brain is mush. I read it, I giggle, or think about it then when I reply to people I dont mention it  no hope for me really :giggle:

mmmmm I like crunchies so why don't I fancy one  xxxxx

Think I must be eating your share for you this week

Though I've been 'good' tonight and settled for a cocopops cereal bar tonight when I've got a posh box of chocs from Hotel Chocolat sitting in the middle of my living room, mocking me

I'm eating a mugshot and a yoghurt aswell though  Gone a bit overboard on carbies today m'well

Well I think I'd seen more than enough of that particular drunk

Mn yeah can't do the eating and walking thing either :sigh: Will just manage I think and try not to overcompensate once I get home after school.

Stressing about it 'cause having to go in for a performance review, m'manager said we'd only be about 10 minutes so I'd guess things are okay but I know I've not been managing to work on enough cases per day so expecting maybe an informal pull-your-socks-up type talk. I'm expected to do more than office-based staff (not sure why they think homeworkers would do -that- much better, getting penalised since I don't need time to gossip about big brother, football and similar crepe with other team members I guess). Really fed up with how things are atm but no other homeworking options within the council up for grabs and don't think I could cope with working in an office anymore :(
