LoChan's diary - hello!

*waves* another pop-in visit, shall do some proper catching up tomorrow :)

WI = STS this week. Quite pleased with that, all things considered. My cold is on it's way out, probably because I've been feeding my germ's addiction to M&S 'more chocolate than biscuit' milk chocolate biscuits :D * week has turned up though so cold discomfort replaced with niggly backache and da kine  Weird since my last * week turned up mid-way through my last cold too... they're normally pretty irregular and I don't like this new pattern lol

Having a treat of chinese takeaway tonight (if it ever turns up ) and playing fighting games with the OH and watching dvds. Bit PO'd about getting up at 8am on a normal lie-in day waiting up for a new microwave and another courier parcel of xmas lego, neither of which arrived  Hope nothing wakes me up tomorrow heh.

Mn was going to have a mini Twilight babble but my laptop internet played up and cut out halfway through typing my original post half an hour ago. So I guess I'll spare you all from that inane paragraph :giggle:

delivery people P me off as well - they rang me yesterday and told me they couldnt find my house so i would have to pay them MORE MONEY to deliver to an address they COULD find.

I went ape s*** at them!

xmas lego sounds amazing.. i love lego. Harry Potter or Indiana Jones for me please :D x

I'm on tenterhooks here ... what was that inane paragraph? Good choice for cold germs, that chocolate medicine, I find it works a treat. Seriously well done on the sts, hope you enjoyed the chinese and poo to the deliveries that didn't arrive. I had a delivery yesterday, I had been braced for it to be between 7.00 and 7.00 and expected to have to stay indoors but I had indulged myself in a lie in (usually up at 5.45) and was woken by the dog barking at 7.30. Note to self, remember this when cross with smelly stupid dog. Sooooo, I emphathise with early morning deliveries. But worse when they fail to materialise.

Strange about your *weeks, I can't remeber what you said earlier, where they regular before losing weight. It might be co-incidence of course, are you worried or just puzzled?

Have a good week m'dear.

Evening,

Mn was woken by the courier with my missing parcels this morning (wasn't expecting that on a sunday!). Some cheeky gits across the road in a block of flats (the dodgy ones with the screaming woman a couple of months ago :sigh:) shouted to the courier that we weren't in, trying to nick my stuff!

Can't say what the xmas l*** was - m'son's sat next to me atm (naughty stop up ). Glad it's arrived finally and in time for the big day :D

*giggles at Micci* it wasn't all that interesting honest. I watched the first film again yesterday with a mind to watch the other two over the next few days as I've not seen Eclipse yet and was thinking of going to see the latest one on wednesday for a nice thing to do on a flexday (got to go get my implanon thingy changed over in the morning, not looking forward to that :(). Was just musing over the series in general - I think I watched the first two films before reading the books and was wondering how ever I got round to reading them in the first place, since I couldn't stand the bella character in the second film, had no sympathy for her carryings on and wailings like a drug addict - think that puts me in the 'Jacob Camp', if I cared to be part of such things :giggle:Wondering if New Moon will be less annoying the second time round lol... Soooo yeah dunno if I would have wittered on more if I'd posted it up yesterday. Still, sorry for the people who detest the 'saga' for the little I have subjected you to ;)

The * weeks thing has been irregular for years ever since I can remember pretty much (I always roll my eyes reading stuff in books about people being 3 days late, it's hard to believe anyone could possibly be that precise about them ). Though this year they've sort of come around every two months or so but still unpredictable. Fretting over getting a new implanon as wondering if it will make things stop for ages. I'd rather have the peace of mind of regular ones just so I know stuff is still working as it should, with wanting to have more children in the future if possible. Will have a word with whoever I see on wednesday I guess, partly why I booked a flexday from work so I'd not have to rush.

I've been to Lidl today Mandy :D Just got the one bottle in to 'sample' - it's the same stuff they had on the markets I think which is a bit annoying really lol Though I think it's made in Germany so it's authentic I guess but at 4.99 a litre when they charge 3.50 a mug on the market, cheeky bleeders lol Still feeding my germs and backache so got some florentines, chocolate gingerbread and some really yummy praline chocolate - the florentines are only 2 syns each and the chocolate is 5 syns for a 20ish grams bar (you get 11 in a pack for a £1 I think!). The gingerbread is around 5 syns for a big biscuit I think.

Still just watching calories atm, eating more sugary stuff than I should but mheh, getting the veg and fruit in too so not being completely devil may care :D

Morning Lo - sorry have been away for a bit - computer-less!! Glad to see you're on the mend - although I am making some chook soup at the mo, which I could get shipped over, may reach you by the middle of next year by the way the post is working at the mo!!! - thats if your cheeky neighbours dont get to it first!!!

I think the world and his dog are struggling at the mo! - I have just 10 weeks till my birthday - the one where my life is gonna begin, apparently, so am gonna start and knuckle down from today - well, christmas is just 1 day right??? hmmm!......

Hope you have a good day xxx

Oh, I am glad you will have a chance to someone clued up on fertility/gynae issues. Hope you get some answers on Wednesday.

Your paragraph totally confused me, I am not up on modern entertainment. My son is trying to educate me, I watched I am legend a couple of nights ago and was in tears - he couldn't believe it but had Hot fuzz up his sleeve to cheer me up again - I don't know how you young things cope with it all :) When you said Eclipse I thought you must be referring to the Lunar eclipse last Saturday (of which we were deprived due to geography :( ) .... go, on snigger at the ignorant oldy :) This si a series of films you'd recomend then? As I have a subscription to rental DVD thingummy and don't bother with it as I don't know what to get.

Get well properly soon xxx

What's chook soup when it's at home then?! lol I'm imagining opening a parcel to find an unamused woodchuck sitting in a big steaming bowl glaring at me :8855:

I think I'm living in the Wish it Could Be Christmas Everyday song atm, foodwise at least lol Not watched a christmas film yet, Gremlins 2 doesn't count so need to watch the first one soon along with all the other christmas dvds in my possession :D

Hope you're getting on okay, will come visit y'diary soon xxx

Will be off to my appointment in a half an hour, anxious about it :(

Hehe aw bless, I'm overcome with ambivalence now. I've read the four/five books of the twilight series and watched the first two films so you'd think I must like it but somehow it warms my heart to think there was somebody unaware of the damn series. I feel bad for 'tainting' you with it now :8855:
You could read up the plot summaries on amazon or something to see if it's the sort of thing you'd like. I like it and hate it at the same time. It's funny when things produce mixed reactions in me and kind of rare. Last thing I remember that produced a similar reaction was reading Ayn Rand novels, I'd sit there not being able to put it down but I'd be going 'Arrrrrgh this is annoying me' all the way through... I guess I'm odd :D

Almost free of the cold and * week but not quite, fed up of it now  Hopefully my immune system should be fired up enough so I don't come down with anything else over the christmas break, having the week off from the 26th so want to be able to enjoy it :)

Hope you're well Micci, shall come and visit your diary soon too - just starting to do catch-ups today. Slowly slowly :)

Got my new freezer and cooker delivered today, though might have to find and fork out money to an electrician to get the cooker installed, grrr. Back later xxxx

HI Lo
Just popping into say hi and see how you are now> I miss your lovely food piccies and you too of course :D xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

You posted while I was typing my previous post heehee :)

I'm on the mend thanks Jackie. Not been able to cook much though with the dead oven and wanting to just flop limply on my sofa of an evening

Been relying on ready meals pretty much, expensive but easy to get on with for the time being :) Not very interesting to photograph unfortunately, sorry food porn fans

Hope you're doing okay hun :bighug: Are you still going to bed with old Trevor? I've gone off him again, with the cold I'd been falling into bed every night and been out like a light so haven't had time to be taken to odd places lately :p

yeah glad to have you back xxxxx

good luck with your appointment and i hope you have a good chat with them, my coil is due changing next year and i am soooooooooooooo not looking forward to that. had it put in under a GA as was having other stuff at the time, dreading it coming out :eek::eek:

so glad you told me the syn value of the gingerbread from lidl its really my closest shop so use it a lot. I have been avoiding the christmas asile :(

have a good day xxxxx

Hey hun, nice to have you back and really looking forwards to your revivial of the food porn, once cooker is installed properly, shame you don't live closer, Mark is a qualified electrician he'd have done it, Manchester's a bit far even for him to travel to lol...mind you if City or Utd play Watford anytime soon, that'd be a different matter entirely lol
Glad you're over the worst of the cold and hope that it and all the other lurgies now stay away, you and me had our fair share of them, let someone else have them for a change :giggle:
Have a good day lovely xxxxxxxx

Hello Lo
How are you, hope things are settling down, or is that a daft thing to say with Christmas next week. Take care, we can refocus for the New Year and the Valentines Challenge
