I knew you had lost your 1st son, but had not known the reason. "Hugs" makes me sad just thinking about it!

I am scared of other people catching the chicken pox which is why I have told everyone to stay away - really don't want to pass it to anyone ( unless they want it lol) nephews wife is pregnant - told them don't come near us at all - silly people want to visit my sick kids - just don't understand the risks !!

Been telling my OH wash your hands etc as your prob a carrier - he thinks I'm nuts - but he's doing it :)

My grandma of 96 just had shingles - said its really painful ! Ouch!

I'm so sorry to hear that, Lexie - it seems such an innocuous illness when kids get it, but it can be anything but. xxx
 
Scales being nice to me :). Just need to keep being good and not self sabotage !

Can't believe I had crisps today - have not eaten them in almost a year or more ! Know totm is coming up but - crisps ?!

Also gave in to the dark peppermint chocolate - but just 3 squares .. Wanted more but stated firm

Tried some cooked buckwheat for dinner, recon I over cooked it - it was ok.. Have not had a tummy ache from eating the buckwheat muesli so assuming it was the fact I ate way too much of it that caused my tummy ache!!

Going to try it for breakfast tomorrow and see if I'm still ok after that - cause it really yummy :)

Also had some rhubarb again today - yummy ! Kirsty I thought of you when cooking it ;)

Scales looking at a STS or tiny gain this week.. Have not fast as with kids sick and getting up every few hours to check on them .. I'm just tired lacking will power and Brain power or are they the same thing lol

WI today small gain of 200g (0.4lbs) I'm ok with that as I've not fasted, just been eating and trying not to nose dive into the kids snack box lol

I'm back to fasting next week, just going to try and do Monday and Friday and control the days in between by eating primally - with not to much added carby items - which I allow myself in the lead up to TOTM

Just hoping Doc says ok to send kids back to school!

Can't believe I just ate 2 apple turnovers with fresh cream! Already feel my head buzzing .. Only time will tell how my tummy will react .. I'm hoping badly - so that I won't feel the desire to do it again ! 1st time in ages I've eaten pastry :(

I love apple turnovers - my dad used to buy them for us as a treat on a Sat morning when I was a kid.. Just had a small bite and I was lost :(

Trouble is they always sell them in twos don't they!

I'm the same with vanilla slices or cupcakes! Knowing the second one is there is awful!

Lol, that's exactly right - I once had two gorgeous scones left in a pack having eaten the first two, so I smashed them into crumbs and dumped them in the bin! :D xx

Lol, thanks, just wish I had the strength to have left them there without wanting to scoff them! Baked goods of the sweet variety are definitely my biggest problem. :D xx

Have found a fab coconut muffin recipe that the whole family likes . Yay! plus it doesn't turn into mini rocks the next day :)

Sons birthday next week and was looking for a cupcake recipe that was sugar and gluten free ;). So really theses are coconut apple honey cupcakes

Hehe those muffins sound nice but dangerously so - maybe put an ingredient in you don't like?! It might save you when those weak moments come! It's what I do when I make stuff for Marcus haha xx
