Medical Signing

Has any one had any trouble getting their GP to sign the medial form. Im desperate to get started but my GP seems to be dragging his heels, hes had the form a week now and says hes emailed the dieticians for advice and waiting to hear back

Hiya - yes. I started cambridge in 2008 at 19.6 stone, i had to get my medical form but the doctor i saw on that particular day refused to sign it & said he didn't agree with this sort of diet. I was devestated and had no motivation whats so ever. But i managed to lose half a stone in a week on my own just by cutting out carbs. Maybe you could try this too? See how you go, you will most definately notice a difference!

This time round, my family GP signed the forms straight away luckily!

My GP refused to sign it, she said there was no legal requirement for a GP signature, that Cambridge were just "covering" themselves but then said I could leave it at Reception and she would sign it for a fee in the region of £20!! So I went back to my CDC and told her this and she said OK then and I started anyway!
