Hi all
I've been yo yo dieting for my whole life..I'm sick of being the 'big' one, sick of wearing what fits instead of what I like. So this is it...this summer I will be slim!! And this is the start of my journey. Share your tips, your progress and your success..lets do it together!! x
 
I started my journey pn Lighter life and have lost 15lb in two weeks. Today I am changing to the Exante diet due to it being more affordable so im nervouse about starting over but excited too. Does anyone know how to add a ticker to my signature? I'm really new to this so sorry if m posts are a bit sporadic to start with. So hows everyone else getting on? xx
 
Hi, like you i've done a previous VLCD, for me it was CD. I also switched due to cost and it's my second day on Exante.
At least you know that the first few days can be hell and it then gets easier.

Hi Liz, thanks for your message :). Day one is going well, I was worried I wouldnt like the foodpacks as much as the LL ones, but The vanilla is good and the toffee bar ok (other than a bit tough!). Feel fuller than I did on LL as well so day one is proving a success. How are you finding the food packs?.
Still dont understand the ticker! May leave it and look at it another day :).

I just got the shakes bumper pack. The chocolate one i'm really not keen on, the strawberry one is ok and the banana is my favourite. I've yet to try the vanilla as i'm worried it could be too bland.
For next month i'll maybe see about getting some of the bars, i'm just worried about spending money on something that I can't stand.

I really like the bars, I dont think they are offensive enough that if you ordered them you wouldnt be able to eat them even of you were not keen as they are on the blad side. I find them really handy for if im heading out or if im peckish in the evening. Ive been having shake for breakfast, bar for lunch (but i cut it in half LONGWAYS and have half at unch and half as an evening snack. Totally psychological but it feels bigger of you cut it length ways lol. Ive had soup for dinner but i find them quite lumpy. Have only been mixing with a fork tho so may have to get a blender.
I have heard that th chocolate is nicer if made into mousse - think you just add a tsp of gelatin to it and pop in the freezer (make with a little less water than usual to get a thicker consistancy)
Might be helpful if your struggling with the chocolate.

Morning Gigglepants, yep all seems to be going well. Feeling much fuller on exante than I was on LL which is a bonus :) Hard week socialising wise, went to a body shop party which had a buffet of amazing food and soo much wine. I sipped my Black Earl Grey tea and bought myself some face products as a treat. Off to London tomorrow which involves a meal. Have e mailed the restaurant to check I can take my food pack. It will all be worth it on weigh day though :). Hows your week going? xx

So first weigh in on Exante was Tuesday and I lost one measely little pound!!!! Gutted after sticking to it to the letter and exercising at least 20 mins a day. Feeling really disheartened and unmotivated....boo :(
 
Hi Melodie-jayne, you might of just had the small loss because you've already lost a huge amount in 2 weeks. If you stick to it though the weight will come off. Keep going and don't be disheartened as you have probably lost inches this week.:)

I'm sure your right, just really struggling as the weekly weigh in is all that spurs me on and i dont feel like i have had my injection of motivation this week. Slipped today and had a bite of a cup cake - so angry with myself. booooo me.
