Hi everyone,

I'm mid-way through my trip down Slimming Lane. I started on 7 August 2018 and to date, have lost 4stone 9.5lbs. I always stay to group -Saturday mornings and I always do the EE plan. I've 3 stone 4.5lbs to lose. My weight loss is slow but fairly consistent with just 5 small gains throughout the entire time. Motivation is definitely waning so I thought I'd start this diary to keep me going.
I've dropped almost 4 UK dress sizes and just bought a bicycle.
So, my meals are pretty similar day to day. I work 9-6 in an office and need a wheelbarrow for the amount of food I pack for breakfast, lunch and snacks.
My weekends are awful/great though. Once I leave my group, I act like I'm on day release from prison and get as much in as I can, usually dragging on till Sunday evening. Monday to Friday I have to chase my tail but I always 'get away with it'.
I'm in Ireland, by the way.
 
So, almost time to finish work for the week.

Brekkie was Brennans Be Good Bread x 2, Laughing Cow Extra Light x2, spinach, ham, cucumber, coffee
Snack was 5 seafood sticks, 2 boiled eggs.
Lunch was Butternut Squash, onion and Piri Piri sauce
Snack was mini Haribo Starmix, Lidl fat free yoghurt and raspberries
Dinner will be a chicken stirfry
Snack will be a meringue nest
 
Today is the day before weigh-in. I had some speed fruit for brekkie and then some left-over chicken stir-fry for lunch. I'm on my way to town now for the afternoon to meet friends for coffee so I haven't had any healthy As yet. I might pick up some sushi in Marks too to tide me over till dinner time.
 
Today I ate

B: berries
L: chicken and veg stir-fry
3 coffees (1 skimmed milk, 2 normal)
S: Sushi roll (4 syns)
D: chicken and veg stir-fry, cheese triangle
Dessert: meringue nest, yoghurt, raspberries, Twirl (6 syns)
 
Monday morning.

I weighed on Saturday morning. I was down 1lb.
I went out Saturday night, got very drunk on Vodka and Diet Coke. Spent the day in bed yesterday other than to get up to eat an enormous pizza and mountains of chocolate. Oh well.

Back on it today but I think we are going for a work lunch.
 
Tuesday:
Yesterday was not on plan.
Brekkie was my usual: ham salad sandwich, coffee
Lunch - we went out with work. Ate totally off plan
Dinner: 2 Twirls, 1 egg, 3 biscuits, some ham and cheese, 1 meringue nest

Am trying again today:
b: Ham sandwich
S: seafood sticks
L: Bolognaise
S:1 boiled egg, Boost
D: Not sure yet

Wednesday.
Didnt actually have a dinner last night but had two chocolates - probably 3 syns each.

Today have had my usual breakfast (sandwich) and 3 coffees (!!)
Lunch will be micro rice which i think is 1.5 syns and some pork stirfry.
Snacks are seafood sticks, melon, raspberries, 1 syn yoghurt, 1 boiled egg
Dinner is SW chips, peppers and those quorn nuggets - maybe 4

Was offered a chocolate croissant in work but turned it down. Victory.
 
Thursday - totally off plan. 3 full Twirls, crisps etc

Friday - on plan, 15 syns

Saturday - weigh. I got a maintain this week. That's ok. Off plan as usual today but will start back tomorrow.
 
Sunday. Stayed relatively on plan today.
B: eggs, smoked salmon, laughing cow, boxty
L: colourful salad
D: boxty, cheese, Quorn nuggets, Linda McCartney sausages, ketchup
S: strawberries, meringue, yoghurt, 2 X hifi bars

Food looks good. Had to laugh at your comment about day release 😂
Thanks. It's totally true and something I need to work on.

Monday:

My usual sandwich brekkie
Lunch: salad inc strawberries, spinach etc etc
Snacks: yoghurt, raspberries, fish sticks, boiled egg. Cadbury Snack
Dinner: salad inc cous cous, pomegranate, chicken etc
Treats: meringue nest, HiFi

Seem to have an aversion to drinking water this week.
 
Tuesday

Brekkie was usual
Lunch was leftovers of Mondays dinner
Dinner was butternut squash, onion, garlic, peppers and chicken
Snacks: 1 finger Twirls, Meringue nest, raspberries, yoghurt, 1 egg

Feeling good, feeling like I've got this. 3 days to go before weigh in
 
Friday night
Today was a busy day. No work.
I had a boxty sandwich for brekkie Inc ham, cheese triangle and cheese slice.
Coffee
Snack 1 egg
2 hifi bars
Sushi
Smoked salmon and lettuce and 1 cheese slice
3 meringue nests.
Weigh in tomorrow
 
Sunday.
Yesterday was weigh-in. I lost 2.5lbs. whoop!!
Then, I did the dog on it for the rest of the day. Got up this morning and went to Lidl to stock up. Roasted/cremated some veggies and chicken.

Then ate a full box of Choco Thins. D'oh.
EDIT: Two full boxes and 24 Kinder bars (like those small sticks you give to kids)

So, needless to say, I have a lot of fighting to do this week to counteract the weekend. I need 1lb to get my 5 stone award but I would love 1.5lb to get to the next stone bracket. However, I think I'll now be lucky if I maintain. I'll give it a shot anyway.
 
Tuesday morning,

Yesterday was a struggle to be honest but in hindsight, I didnt do too bad. I had a Twirl and one celebration.
 
Thursday. Yesterday was ok, not amazing but ok.

Today, I had my usual sandwich for brekkie, salmon and veg for lunch, an apple, some seafood sticks and a Toffee Meringue from Tesco. Dinner will be speedy bolognaise and I have my walking club tonight.

No work tomorrow but have to go to hairdressers, hospital and town. It no longer worries me, I can buy lots of food in M&S, Tesco, delis etc
 
Monday morning.

I had a busy weekend. I got my 5 stone certificate on Saturday morning which was awesome. I treated myself to a full set of gel nails. I had afternoon tea with my friends, went shopping, rode my bicycle.
Sunday was on plan following Saturday's usual binge. I'm on plan today aswell. I'd love 2lbs off this week but whatever happens...
 
Tuesday. Today I ate
usual sandwich, 2 coffees, chicken salad, raspberries, Kvarg, 1 egg, 1 finger of Twirl.

My commute home will be a boiled egg and 5 strawberries.

Then, I have my walking club, and dinner which is already prepared - chicken and butternut squash.

I'll probably also have a meringue.
