It is from the Quorn Kitchen Recipe Book

Quorn Tikka Masala (11 syns)

Serves 4 (3 syns per portion)


300g Quorn Chicken Style pieces

For the Marinade -
2tbsp Tikka Masala Paste (2 syns)
1tbsp ground cumin
1tbsp ground coriander
1/2tbsp turmeric
1tsp chilli powder
140ml Greek style thick yoghurt 0%
1tbsp Tom puree (3 syns)
2 cloves of garlic finely chopped

For the curry -
1tbsp veg oil (6 syns)
2 medium onions finely chopped
1 lge red pepper diced
400ml hot veg stock


1. Mix all marinade ingredients together add the quorn pieces and stir until evenly coated and leave for 30 minutes.

2. Heat the oil in a saucepan and fry the onions over a medium heat for 5 mins until soft and golden, add the pepper and fry for a couple of minutes.

3. Add the quorn pieces and the marinade to the pan and stir fry for 10 mins, to cook out the spices. Gradually add the hot stock, mixing well and bringing to the boil. Reduce the heat, cover and simmer for at least 30 min to allow spices to blend together and mellow. Top with a little boiling water if necessary.

It was yum!!!!!!
