Minilady's Diary... getting back on track

Abis provisional license came through this week, so that will be her on the road within the year! Unless she takes after her mothers driving skills.....nuff said!
Have you given the police the jacket? Don't wash it, just bag it. Even if they say they won't need it. A few weeks down the line they will say they haven't enough evidence to prosecute or something. Then you can say ''But wait, we have this! How can his dna be on it?'' Or am I just being too cynical? I think it was getting bitten by the system last time!

Kim has just passed the theory test but hasn't put in for her main test yet. Her instructor thinks she'll be ready in a couple of months.

I don't think you're being cynical at all. To be honest I can see nothing happening much over this. To the police it won't be classed as a serious offence. I'm just hoping he'll be named so we know who he is.

Not sure about the DNA thing, I presume there will be traces of his spit still on it, but as it wasnt a violent or sexual assault my guess is they won't be interested.

Hi Nikki

I'd take up on Jane's offer, she's a very formidible CDC from what I hear;)

Dear Tracey, that's a very nice thing to say but I wasn't volunteering my services as a CDC. I mean what how scary can I be armed with a tape measure & a BMI wheel? Should the ciminals of Worcs be quaking in their boots when beaten about the head with diet sachets?

Lol!!! I know you weren't, just threw the CDC comment in! Now you've got me picturing you slapping people with sachets, pink for the girls and blue for the boys:p and if they are really bad, just throw a pot of summer berry drink at their heads (I had one fall out the cupboard on me the other week, it bloody hurt:eek:)

these cd things are spiteful! I forget who it was, but they were throwing a hissy fit, I think over not losing much weight, and they threw a bar into the cupboard and it jumped back out and hit her in the face! It's not mini's we need to watch out for, it's the product!

Ah yes, I'm more tuned in now. How about a stoning using frozen tetras? Also the brocolli & cheese soup might have a use as a stink bomb/tear gas. (sorry Cambridge, but it does have few fans)

PS Tracey is a much better & more sympathetic CDC than I am.

Is that FEW fans or A FEW fans for the broccoli soup? LOL! I have yet to try it's delights. My CDC screwed up her face at it, but said thats all one of her clients has! I will stick to the banana one made into porridge. I think I am addicted.

Oh Tracey how horrible for your daughter, I bet she was petrified, I know that I would have been and that's as an adult. Sorry but I'm only now catching up on messages and posts, so sorry to have missed this.

Please give her my best and a big (((hug))) and here's one for you too mrs (((huggggg))), you must be feeling awful.

I hope they get him and string him up - he's caused psychological trauma to a innocent young girl and he should be bloody punished for it.

I hope so, but to be honest not too sure he will be:sigh:

Kim's feeling a bit better today and has planned to go to college tomorrow, she is now armed with a jiff lemon:D and I'm going to get her a personal alarm, just to make her feel a bit safer.

I'm still very concerned about her, she has asked to sleep with me since this happened as she dosen't feel safe in her bed. I received a phone call from victim support, the lady was very nice but basically told me to contact GP or her cognitive therapist that she sees for OCD as the victim support people are not counsellors and don't want to make matters worse:eek: So what are these victim support people, what do they do, do they help and support anyone:confused: Feeling a bit angry about all that so won't write what I actually think about this as it may offend.

I phoned Kim's OCD counsellor and at her next meeting she will talk to Kim about what's happened.

I looked into joining a group for overeaters, it all looked good, found some meetings not too far from me and thought it may help. Then read on further and it seems this help group are religious. I'm not anti religion, but I have my own beliefs which don't marry their own. Now it's put me off!

I have to see my GP tomorrow and I'm hoping the wheels are in motion for me to see a specialist.

I'd had my week planned, gym sessions, meal plans etc. I haven't followed it at all:( Will get back on track after Easter.

I was going to write 'PHEW' fans :sign0137:, but as yout CDC says there are a few who really like it.
I suspect it may be one of these weird genetic things: like liking brussels sprouts, being able to smell phosgene gas etc.

Should help.

I think we get the jist of your feelings. Did they manage to explain what they do do?

Excellent.

Ah that's a shame. Are you sure that they bring their religion into the group? It may, perhaps, be that they wear a 'religious hat' in order to be able to use a church hall or similar.

Good. Also recent events may help your cause.

Plenty of time to get the new regime under way. Other things, naturally, will take priority for a bit.
I hope you have peaceful family easter.

HA! I armed my daughter with a pocket sized hair spray, didn't think of a lemon. THats gooood! I just thought the d**ks eye lashes might get stuck together long enough for her to run away. Crazy thing is, its decorating her dressing table rather than her handbag! Oh, could a lemon be construed in court to be going out 'armed'? Its not something us girlies usually have, unless shes into gin!

We thought of hairspray or deoderant too:)

Opted for lemon juice, not sure why:confused: Lol probably something to do with my obsession for food:D

If she goes to court for causing GBH with a jiff lemon, I'll explain that I'm the one on the gin;):D

The police have been back in touch and have taken Kim's jacket off for DNA testing, also Kim has had a DNA swab taken too.

Interestingly they asked if we had connections with a town near us and then went on to ask if we knew 3 names, 2 were male and the other a female, apparently when they did the number plate search, these people were or have been associated with the vehicle. We didn't recognise the names but of course checked them out on the internet;)

We have a friend from the town mentioned and phoned them to see if they knew the people, they did:)

I think it's rather odd that we were given names, how do they know we can be trusted with this information:confused: Surely they don't want revenge attacks going on, Lol not saying that will happen of course!

Kim seems to be a lot more settled again:)

My recent bouts of binging have lead to a 7lb weight increase:eek: I have decided to follow the 810 plan for a week and then once again work up the stabilisation plans, well that's the plan but with the kids easter eggs taunting me in the house I'm not sure how well I'll cope:sigh:

It's snowing here this morning and my household is very excited, it's not looking likely to settle though:( We always seem to miss out on lots of snow in our little corner of GB.

Mini how can you say that you miss out on the snow! Many years ago we were living in Hampshire and I had to drive OH to Dover port, and we went through Kent. A few flakes on the way down. On the way back I thought I had got on the ferry and was in Norway! Have never seen snow like that - come from nothing to 2ft deep in 2 hours! Had DD in the car as well, and I HATE snow driving. Came home a nervous wreck.

Glad to hear that they have taken the jacket away. A bit cautious about the name giving though. In court it could be taken as biased info or sommat. You didn't know them until you heard the names. Oh dear we have made a mistake and can't proceed cos it will get thrown out of court due to prejudist (sp) information being given. Be careful, deny any knowledge of the names if anyone asks.

Sorry to hear about that naughty 7lb finding its way home again. Don't back it with a road map this time it disappears! Mind you I think in your circumstance I would have done exactly the same. At least toure trying to knock it on the head before it reached 10lb.

Good news that the police are taking it further Tracey.

Is it the stress of what's been going on do you think that has led to the more binging and the weight gain?

I live in Whitstable we honestly don't get much. The surrounding towns seem to get it much worse, maybe it's to do with the sea winds:confused:

Had bad news:mad: I got a phonecall from the DS and they have interviewed the driver, apparently he felt sick got out of his car and sneezed in Kims face:eek::mad: So it looks like the lying sod will get away with it as there are no witnesses! DS seems to think it probably wont go much further:sigh:

Started 810 plan today and so far all is well, considering the easter eggs all over the place, I feel I've done well today, after the news from the police I took myself off for a long waklk along the seafront, it was either that or snuffle into chocolate for comfort;)

Good news that the police are taking it further Tracey.

Not really sure Katie, I was binging before this happened so I can't really blame it. I'll get on top of it again:)

More importantly, how did Friday go:confused::character00201: I have only popped online briefly a couple of times over the weekend so haven't seen any posts about it. I hope you had a great time! Also didn't see your weigh in results this week:eek:

I said that al they had to do was lie and then they'd get away with it. When I was speaking to the officer who was doing Abi's case I said so all we have to do is lie and we will get away with it? He just shruged his shoulders and said well yes... So I said well if I do something wrong then I'll just lie and get away with it then. Simple. Life is just so unfair!

:character00201: was brilliant - I am now the proud owner of a CBT certificate ......... was very scary going out onto the road as I'd only hit a couple of miles an hour before an all of a sudden I was doing 30 and then 40+ mph and having to change gears, be aware of the road, stay safe and still breathe!!!! Now I've just got to hopefully pass my theory test on Thursday!

It's weigh in tonight for me - hopefully it will be at least 1lb as it I get 1lb then that's 3 stone gone in 11 weeks :)

It's been a week since my last confession and I'm happy to say head is in a much better place at the moment:)

I have had a date to see a therapist but this isn't till the end of April. In the mean time I was talking to an old friend who slipped into conversation that her sister in law was a therpist. We weren't talking about my issues at the time but after she'd spoken about SIL I breifly mentioned my situation and she said she'd ask her if I could possibly see her. Well I saw her Saturday:eek: She was lovely and we discussed lots of stuff which I shan't bore my poor diary with. I left her house feeling a lot lighter (mentally and physically) One thing I have realised is that I have seen my maintenance/food demons/staying at goal etc. as a negative thing. I forgot about the positive things, she has helped me to consentrate on these things rather than the negatives.

I am still at goal after 9 months:D:D:D Oh Yes!!!!!

I am going to continue seeing this lovely lady fortnightly!

Oh and have finally got a new carpet on my stairs:cool::D
