Minimins CD 2008 - sign in thread

Hi there,

I'm 27 years old and live in the Midlands. I started dieting at 16st and went down to 9st. Then spent several years yoyo-ing between about 9st 7lbs and 11st. I'd just tipped the scales again at 12st 2lbs when I started CD on Feb 8th. Lost 12lbs so far........really desperate to maintain my weight once I get to my goal, as that's what I have a real problem doing! My first goal is to reach 9st 10lbs, ideally I'd love to get to just over 9st.....but I'll see how I go!

same problem..

:wave_cry:Hi I am really confused now, how do keep track of threads here?

I constantly loose track so I am posting everywhere..sorry admins if that makes it hard for you but it is a bit confusing...never really been a professional poster anyway....

Hello

I'm Louise, turned 30 last year and swore i'd be slim at 30  Anyway, i'm nearly 17 stone and 5'5". I am so down about my weight, but positive that cd will make my dreams come true over the coming months.

Seeing the pictures on here is so motivating, I love looking at them and imagining what I might look like. I saw that seeyourselfslim website, you could do it yourself if you have a play around with Photoshop :)

xXx

My name's Heather, aka Izzy!! and I'm 42 years young, 5ft 6" tall and weigh around 17.6 :ashamed0005:....did LL 3 years ago and lost 2 stone before the money ran out!! I am getting married on 1st Nov this year so am hoping to lose about 4-5 stones....more would be great but I would be happy with this!! I am hopefully starting on Monday 25th Feb, I am excited but scared as I know the 1st few days are tiring...well for me anyhow!! It would be great to hear from like minded people for support so MSM would be good.. [email protected]. I live in Leicestershire, so if there's anyone from around this area that would be great? But all new diet buddies welcome...please!!:gen126:...Good luck to all of you....have loved reading all your posts.....keep up the good work..hugs to all:hug99:Izzyxx

So inspired

Hi everyone

I'm Michelle and about to start my path to my goal weight with CD tomorrow. I have read all of your inspirational posts and can't wait to get started.
For the first time ever, I really feel like I am going to succeed. I've tried other diets, but lose interest before I lose all my weight. Most I have lost is 4 st and that was with WW but it bored me and I put it all back on and more!
This time, I WILL do it.
I cannot believe the amazing losses some of you have had and feel excited that it happens so much quicker than the odd half a pound a week programmes.
Heading off on holiday in August and want to lose 6 stone by then. I currently tip the scales at 16.5 (im 5'7") and aim to be 10.7... The thought of being able to comfortably sit in a plane seat and tip down the tray table.... plus dress for the beach instead of covering up is my visual goal!
I look forward to sharing my trip with you and will come back to seek the fantastic feeling that you have all given me with your stories of success.
Lots of love and continued success to you all.....

Michelle (Diva2B):)

Hello!
I'm Liz from Stockport and I started CD on the 15th Feb. First week went really well and I lost 8lb (3 stone to go!!) which was very encouraging! I looked into CD after trying (and failing) at other diets, includng WW, Rosemary Conley and Slimfast... I tend to lose about 1-1.5 stone and then get bored because it's taken so long!!
Thankfully my family and friends are (mostly) very supportive, so I'm hoping to crack it this time!
:)

Hi, not sure if I ever posted on here or not (!)

My name is Kathryn, I started CD about 7 weeks ago. I lost 3 1/2 stone on WW a few years back, and it creeps back on, then I lose it. So I always ended up going back to WW each New Year, but lost my motivation the past couple of times and weight crept up so I was a size 18, verging on going higher. Had enough, so decided to try CD, after seeing someone at work losing loads on it.

My problems are boredom/sad/lonely eating and eating too big portions, as generally I eat quite healthily. Just when I get bored/sad/lonely I comfort eat. I also work long hours and sit either in my car or at my desk which doesn't help

MSN is [email protected]
Facebook is http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1032963907 but I hope my little symbol under my name works too!

Hi I'm Locana (Lorraine) and I'm a newbie on here! I will be starting the Cambridge tomorrow, and am both excited and a little nervous as I've never done a liquid diet before. My current weight is 14.10lbs, and am hoping to lose around 3.5 stone. I was originally 16 stone, but managed to lose 2 stone with weight watchers at the beginning of last year, but stopped after a couple of months due to reasons unknown!!? In the last month I have put on 10lbs after giving up smoking, which, quite frankly, has scared the poop out of me!! I am ready and focused (I hope) but am gonna need a lot of support, so will be posting a lot!! I have a couple of friends that have done so well on the Cambridge and have been really inspiring!

Please PM me for my MSN!!!

Hello :) I'm Lynne, I'm 33 and living in Middlesex. I'm a stay at home Mummy to two gorgeous kids, a daughter who is 6, and a son who is 4.5 but who is severely autistic so can be a bit of a handful! I'm a returner, started 4 weeks ago, although missed weigh in last week as was in Scotland! 3 weeks in I'm 13lbs down so pleased :)

I did LL before in 2006 and lost close to 4 stones. I wasn't in the right place though and managed to regain three of that fairly quickly. I did lost 19lbs on my own from Sept to Xmas, but my husband wanted to try CD so i thought I'd rejoin with him and hopefully get to my goal faster!
