Hey diet buddy!
I would have been gutted having to watch you steam ahead. Seeing each day where i SHOULD have been!
It certainly does help to have someone alongside at the same stage for motivation!

I also think that hitting a milestone, while it's wonderful, it doesn't always help. In the past that's where I've sometimes failed, I'm all excited to get to a certain point and then when I get there I see the reality of where I still have to go to and then I stumble ---- this time the only thing I'm getting overly excited for is day 168, anything else is just a mini bonus xx

Katie i think you have it spot on here!
I thought from the beginning, get me back in the 14's and i will be fine. From there the pressure can ease off and it will get easier!
I also think its true hitting a milestone like you say it turns from 'look how far ive come' into 'look how far ive still got to go' !!
I think that definitely played a factor in it :(

All the support on here definitely does help though, thank goodness xxx
 
Awww hun. How you felt today was how I felt in week 6. I really hope it passes and that it is alot easier for you tomorrow. Keep strong hun, you can and will get through it. No i dont think i can consider food week hun.
I know my downfalls and unfortunately i would push the boundaries on food week and also when i have tried it in the past, i end up falling off and never getting back on!
Its a shame as i have seen food week work so well for so many people including you, but unfortunately not for me. I need to keep going to the end!

D'ya know I saw something yesterday and in it they said that food is an addiction but also a necessity. With all other addictions (drugs,alochol etc) you can stay away from the 'addiction' in question, but with food its much much harder as we obviously need it to live.

Don't therefore feel dissapointed that you were tempted, you are human. Instead, feel proud that you abstained xx

Do you think it was deep rooted because you knew you were on a previous " struggle point " in your journey? Week 7? You've passed another mammoth crack in the road! Now to sail straight in through till these 13s are showing! Xxx
 
Well i am pleased to say today has been 100% better than yesterday :)

No food thoughts or thoughts about falling off the wagon :)

I am so pleased today has been easier i dont think i could have survived another day like yesterday!

Lets hope struggle days are few and far between...i have a goal to get to for goodness sake :)

Tough love is definitely needed for me!
I dont want to fall off or give myself permission, excuse or reason too and dont want others to either :)

Yes that is definitely true, its like having to take just a little bit of the drug every day!

I really dont know carrie. I hope not coz if thats the case im gonna have another mammoth struggle in just over half a stones time !

I tried to think about why yesterday was different and i cant say any particular reason stood out.
The closest i can get is what katie said, that i was chuffed i had got so far but then reality dawned that i still had a very long way to go!!

I have had a better day today though so im hoping im over it and it was just a blip!! :) xx

So, so tempted to cave in when I got home from a terrible day at work - even planning the pizza toppings driving home!

I didn't - and won't - cave in

.....but today has been VERY tough :cry:

But hey, it's the weekend thank goodness :D
 
Well you came through it MM. That's the main thing. If it happens again try to remember how good you felt this morning about not caving in & a bit closer to your goal x
