Miss Mac diary - A fresh start!

Last weeks weight: 13.8

Current weight: 13.6

Lost: 2lb

I lost 2lb :D

I am very very happy with that.
I have stopped gaining (hopefully) and have leveled out!
I am so pleased with that especially as i had a night out and beer munchies day on sunday!

I hope its not a fluke :)

Definitely a relief susie. I was very worried it was going to keep going up.

Pork steak and stirfry for tea tonight.
Was having a hungry night tonight though for some reason and wanted to eat loads.
However, i am going on a pre holiday shopping trip with my son on Saturday to the metro centre and we are going for something to eat. So as i am having my bad on saturday, i filled up on salad tonight instead of naughties!!

It was quite a revelation for me. I would never have considered that in the past.

It was strange considering either eating naughties tonight or being good so i can eat what i want on saturday!

Remember in my diary when i said i still buy naughty things when they are on offer so i dont feel like im missing out, well, that was good training for this as its similar, i can refrain from over eating tonight in order to enjoy my day on saturday. It is my choice to be good today so i dont miss out on saturday :)

I quite like this way of thinking!

Oh and by the way, my goodie cupboard is still full! I just needed to buy it all, not actually eat it all ;)

Thank goodness its friday and i have a long weekend.
Last day in work then off to the metro centre tomorrow for some retail therapy ;)
Sunday i will be packing our cases then i can see if i need to rush out and buy some last minute bits :)
Monday i will be mainly chilling :D
 
Phase 2 is october. So i need to maintain for another 4 months!

That's a really good plan to stabilise half way, coz you're getting your body slowly used to a lower weight. Well done :) x

Off to the metro centre today :)

Just had yoghurt and granola for breakfast. Wasnt hungry and didnt need to eat however i thought if ive got a nice filling breakfast in me then i hopefully will be less inclined to snack on naughty things whilst shopping. :)

We are having something to eat there and hopefully by having breakfast it will stop me wanting to over order because im hungry!

I am very surprised at myself how my thought process has changed this time round.
I would never normally think things through like i have been doing, i would just think ill have what i want.

I hope i keep this train of thought as i have a feeling its this way of thinking that might be the difference between success and failure ;)
 
The change in the way you approach eating is definitely working & you seem quite happy in yourself so stick with it. Hopefully eventually it will become a natural way of thinking about food over all.

I have had such a lovely day :)

Bought my son some t shirts, a present and card for his friends birthday on wednesday, and an expensive superdry jacket which wasnt on the list!

I felt he deserved a treat though as he doesnt ask for much. He wasnt going to let me buy it when we saw the price tag but i could see how much he loved it. He was over the moon when i bought him it :)
I think god was looking down on me too though as when i went to the till the lovely shop assistant gave me her 20% staff discount!! I was over the moon :D

I got a bikini which i loved, but i have got it home and it turns out the size 16 hanger i picked up has a size 10 top on it....grrrr!
I might take it back or just bin it as it was only cheap, will see if i have time.

I did get a bag though which i saw in a magazine that i liked. It was a toss up between this and a ted baker one i saw but ended up with this as it will hold all the things i need for the airport!

Had lunch at eds american diner! Had a bbq pulled pork burger which came with coleslaw, onion rings and fries. Ate about 4 fries and left the rest as they werent worth the calories but the rest was lush. And 2 diet cokes.
Was going to have waffles for dessert but i was to full.
We did go to krispy kreme though and i got 3 doughnuts so im no angel :(

That bag will be perfect for going away, very pretty :) Not good re the bikini though, I hate it when that happens. xx
 
Ended on 2557 calories which is more than double my normal 1200 but its been 1 day and its been a good day :)

Still need to practice being off plan does not mean eating just for the sake of it. But did learn that when eating just for the sake of it, nothing tastes as nice!!

I am still a work in progress :)
 
Well eating so much genuinely does not suit me anymore. I felt it all on my tummy last night and didnt sleep great because of it :(
I can still feel it lying on my tummy now.!
Im looking forward to a nice 1200 calorie day today :)

So today i need to get some washing and ironing done, get shopping delivery, have a sunbed, pack suitcases and my sister is coming over later too!! So pleased its a bank holiday weekend :)

1 week today until my holidays :D
