Miss Mac diary - A fresh start!

Last weeks weight: 13.9

This weeks weight: 13.11

Gain: 2

Well no surprise there then except im lucky it wasnt more of a gain!
Time to knuckle down now though and get back into the lower 13's.

Lunch is packed and i have plenty of fruit and tea will be a ww microwave meal with added fresh veg.

Looking forward to my trousers getting looser ;)
 
Welldone on jumping on, seeing damage and planning to succeed! Hope today's a good day. Those trousers will be loose again soon xxx
 
That's not too bad a gain Miss M and at least it wasn't as bad as you'd thought - good on you for trying to get back down to the lower half, I've got every faith in you xx

You've recognized where things started to take a downturn MM. I'm sure you will get back to healthy food options this week & see that 2lb gone by next weigh in.

I have been doing great this week.
Today however i went to my sisters for what turned into an indoor bbq!!
Didnt do so well there but i dont mind so much as i feel back in control food wise and it was planned.

I have bought a great little salad box today to take to work with little compartments which is great for me as i like to keep things seperate :)

Also got loads of lovely salad and fruit.
I have been tracking my calories and been under all week (except today)
I have felt much better doing this and i am enjoying my food more again :)

I have been researching certain foods too as i have been feeling exhausted a lot! Went to doctors for iron and thyroid tests but they must be normal as they havent rang me to say otherwise.
So im trying to put iron rich, healthy and more fibre foods into my diet.
Now i dont know whats causing the extreme exhaustion so im going to try food see if that helps as its a horrible feeling :(

So looking forward to weigh in this week rather than dreading it :D
 
You're doing really well, it does feel so much better when you're looking forward to weigh in, I'm glad you feel that way - keep on as you're going :) x
 
Pleased to hear you're doing so well. I would have thought you would feel energised eating salad and fruits! Maybe it's the heat. Are you drinking enough?
 
Good to hear you are happy with your food intake again MM. Maybe the increase in work load and the stressors that come with it are making you feel exhausted. X
 
Are you exercising miss m? Sounds counter productive if you're tired but I find I'm very tired and lethargic if I don't exercise and full of energy when I do :)

Loss: 1

Its not much but its better off than on :)
Not sure why only 1lb as i have been mostly good this week except the bbq on saturday.
I am still going to keep plodding on though as i dont like being in the high 13's, its like a danger zone, so gonna keep at it and try and get back into the lower half :)
 
Welldone miss mac, and bearing in mind you had a few weeks losing 1lb on 2 shakes a day so overall I'd say your still doing really well. Xxx

So glad to hear that your resolve is still strong and you're continuing to 'plod on'. :) You can and you will get there.

Last weeks weight: 13.10

So i didnt manage to stick to plan as much as i had hoped!

To be honest, if i was lower 13's and going up and down 1lb i would be over the moon. Being high 13's makes me nervous though as it doesnt leave much room for error!!

I seem to do absolutely fine for 5 of the 7 days and those 2 off days arent necessarily the weekends. Yesterday for example was an off day, the day before weigh in!!!

So not sure what my plan is for this week.
I am at work until friday then off for a week.
I am having a meal on saturday and tuesday Wednesday we are going to blackpool so definitely a couple if days off plan :D

I wont be weighing next week as im away but i need a plan for keeping my weight under control.
My thoughts at the minute are:
Increase my calories from 1200 to 1500
(My thinking behind this is that 1200 may be too restrictive causing me to go off the rails for 2 days therefore if i increase allowance, i can have more but still be on plan)
Psychological this one i think. As if i run out of calories i go over the top but if im allowed a few extra i may be able to stay within budget.

Option 2 is to do 2 500 calorie carrie style fast days. This may help reduce overall calories.
With this option though, i worry i will over eat to compensate on the non fast days!!

I will mull it over but i think option 1 may be the best way for me, i can but try :D
 
A pound gain isn't too bad, you'll have that off again with a big poo! ;)

It's really inspiring to see that you are so on top of everything for this maintenance period - I mean sure you make mistakes and overeat but you acknowledge it and get right back on it again. Good for you miss mac :) your idea to up cals each day sounds like a good one too x

I've switched to fasting now and I can honestly say that you are not more hungry after a fast day so there is no reason to overeat on an eating day. You just have to be sensible but that includes an allowance for treats too. Just no ridiculous pigging out.
