Miss Mac diary - A fresh start!

I watched a film and now I'm in bed so I'm hoping I have survived! I'm not declaring success until tomorrow though as I have been at this point before and failed!
The raging food thoughts seem to have subsided though so I am grateful for that!

Trying to find some specs tomorrow. Been looking all over and cant seem to find any that suit me, I just don't have the face for them!
Saying that I think part of the problem is what the people in the shop tell me I suit are not the ones I want to suit :banghead:

I hope tomorrow is an easier diet day especially the cafe bit. If not then this diet just got a whole lot tougher :sly:
 
When I am at work I use the App but at home I use my laptop.

Hope the need for food has passed MM. It will given time so hang on in there x

I will just use the proper reply button from now on and see if that works as I think the problem is quick reply
 
I go to bed early, too! I watch films or documentaries online, read the papers online, whatever. However I don't sleep until very late because I can't sleep early. I'd love to be able to just put my head on the pillow and drift-off right away x
 
Day 18
Week 3

Im getting lost with the days etc so needed to log that.

I made it through yesterday....... Phew!

Think it's still gonna be a tough few days and don't think the thoughts have completely gone.

Maybe it's because we are just coming to the end of January and I know I still have 2 months to do.

I try to take it one day at a time for this very reason. Looking at the whole picture is sometimes overwhelming and plays havoc with our will power!

Will try and get through today!

One sister had jacket potato and cheese and the other had mince and dumplings which would have been my choice!
Wasn't too tempted and just had a coffee.
Had my eyebrows done and am now sitting with a cool pack on them as I'm allergic to the wax and my brow is bright red! Oh I look pretty! Lol ;)
 
Well done for surviving lunch MM! You're definitely on a roll if you weren't even tempted and are losing track of days. I gave up counting. Have a great day tomorrow x

Oh no, you seem to have quite sensitive skin MM. That's what I'm dreading when in Sri Lanka. My skin reacts badly to the sun & I end up all itchy & looking like I have turkey skin till I get used to it after a week or so. Not a good look at all!!.

Sorry everyone but I have given up TFR and have just been to my first weight watchers class.
I was struggling so much and I thought about it a lot.
Then I remembered I struggled for a month last September, tried and failed is November, tried and failed beginning of January and then a second time in January. So this time it obviously isn't really working for me and I need something else.
To make matters worse, I stayed on the diet for 18 days so should have lost a stone but 3 days off the diet saw me only 3lb lighter than when I started!
I am gutted I can't stick to it as I would be at goal so much faster and so much more guaranteed, but the long way round for me it is

Weight watchers is great miss Mac don't apologise you need to do what is right for you! Slimming world is good too if you want to eat unlimited amounts of certain foods x good luck!

Weight watchers will be better for me as I don't necessarily like to eat a big portion of food I'm more of a pick at different things kind.
And sw is all about cooking from scratch which I'm not very good at.
I'm hoping I can do OK. A loss every week no matter how small would do me. It's when I stick to it and get a gain that throws me off track.
I was hoping to see ww listing GI foods but they don't do that yet.
I'm going to eat low GI where I can though to see if the diet programmes theory is correct! Xx
 
Everyone's different MM. You've got to do the right way for you. Keep posting though so we can follow progress. Plus we'd miss you x
 
You need to do what's right for you and you are making the choice of trying something different instead of completely giving up :) Keep us up to date with your progress x
 
Good luck with your fresh start with WW. Nothing wrong with switching programmes if one isn't working for you :)

First ww weigh in tonight and I have lost 4lb :D

Start ww: 14.6 (evening)
Week 1: 14.2 - 4lb

I am crazy chuffed with that!

Obviously it's first week and I struggle to lose from here on in (not due to cheating) just due to my crazy body, but I'll take that as a positive start.
And I have eaten some lovely things.
Wish every week could be as good as this!
