Hello all Diet Chefers, hows it going??? Weekend over.... I had a busy weekend, Saturday running around getting balloons and cake and wrapping pressies then out for a meal with family and Sunday Deanna's 7th birthday (OMG!!!! 7) so had a very excited girl, opening pressies and then onto pary where I resisted the urge for a slice of cake and had 2 latte's instead. Then home to open rest of pressie and then god parents round with their pressie and then a tired girl off to bed for 8 as back to school today.

So I am completely knackered today and so is Deanna xxxx

How is everyone else today on diet???? I am going to weigh in tom and see if I have lost anything...... fingers crossed

The bloody weather :tear_drop::tear_drop::tear_drop::tear_drop: today is terrible. :sigh:

Hello there Angelchaser, I know the feeling, I have to source my food elsewhere as I cant stand the granola and porridge, so I have Special K. I have brought the soup and meals in Sainsburys and off the web the last few weeks, so I have a little stock pile to keep me going.

I have lost another 3lbs this week to kick start me off, so we are at the same weight. Shall we keep each other going and see how the week pans out, when should your delivery be????

Good luck speak soon...:D

Hi Shep, 3lbs is excellent!!!!

my box arrived today so I will be starting with 'official' products tomorrow. It all looks quite shiny but i'm now understanding a lot more about sourcing elsewhere....looking at the nakd site you can get 3 months supply for 20 quid ish which im sure must work out cheaper...

It'd be great if we can buddy up - I'm always better when there's a team effort!

Have you got any major goals or targets you're aiming for??? I'm hoping to get back into a size 10 for my birthday in november this year-
last year I vowed I wouldn't be fat for my birthday and failed miserably so my pictures aren't as cheerful as I want...I'm doing something about it much earlier in the year this year!!!!

How are you getting on today!!!

Hi Angelchaser, well I am gonna be the big 40 this year and don't wanna be fat for that. I always say i'll slim and fail so this year I am determined I am having a party and a meal out and want to look good and not worry about the photos.

Yes it would be much easier with a buddy so will add you to my friends and good luck for tomorrow. You will love it I'm sure :D;)

Hi all. Monday/Tuesday didn't get off to a very good start, but getting better now. Went to the gym yesterday so feel better about that. Got to run - need to get everything done before the school run...ergh. DH coming home tonight, til next Tuesday which just makes the diet so much harder for me. Still lets set a goal of no weight on by Tuesday (which will be a major achievement with him around!!)

The granola for me was upsetting my stomach and it laid in my tummy like a brick, porridge much the same. I always have special K or a slice of toast and that made it better. I did ask DC if I could order the soups and main meals without breakfast and they said it came as a complete package, hence sorcing elsewhere.

I weigh in anywhere from Mon - Wed so being Monday would be no problem at all.

Are you excited??? The food is nice and you will have your favs and ones you just dislike, I cant stand the Goats cheese and red pepper soup or mushroom stognoff!!!! eeewwwww. But you may love them. I like the sausages with some nice veg. (1 buy the steam pack as well, take the same amount of time as the meals) who would of thought that you could have a complete meal ready in less than 10 mins.

I love this diet and hopefully will shift the weight for me and you.

:talk017: Good luck for today :D:D:D:D

Hi Setas, hope the week isn't too bad for you...keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Shep - really excited today! Have got it all planned out - had choc granola for breakfast...quite liked it altho i've never tried garnola before so found it quite um...rabbit food-y!

I've got choc milkshake for lunch plus some chilli oat bakes and an apple and orange..probs having the sausage for dinner...yumyumyum!

Have you ever tried the sweet parsnip + chilli soup?? It's one I've avoided for the time being but it sounds interesting!!!

I wanna sit down and try and properly work out if it's cheaper to source things individually or if there's not much difference and its less hassle to DC it!!!!

Anyway I'm babbling now...so time to end!

Good luck today!!!! :D:angel09:

I find I can get the soups for anything from £1.25- £1.99 and meals usually £1.99 each so for me works out better, but see how you get on.

I had the sweet potatoe and coconut soup last night and added chicken pieces as it was really thick and it was so lush, will def do again. Not sure wot to have today will have a rummage and have a lucky dip. Good luck for the rest of the day. :D

Where do you find the main meals and soups from?

I've food a good site that has all the snacks (and granola lol) the moodfoodcompany.co.uk. - haven't been able to do the math yet and see if it's cheaper but initial thinking is it is!

Have just had my choco shake...not sure if i liked it. Good luck for you too! xx

hey hey!

How are you getting on today???

So far I've had granola...yum... some fruit biscuits...I really liked them, they weren't too biscuity- nice and crunchy, and a strawb milkshake...far superior to the choc one!!!

Hope you're having a good day!

hey hunn, not doing to bad today, had my special K and had chicken and thyme soup was okay but next time might add a little chicken as there wasn't much in it.

Tonight I dont know what to have, daughter got a small roast, hubby wants fish and chips and me still ?????????
oh well I suppose i will find something.

Apart from that nothing doing, except a long soak in the bath tonight as got soaked at school and now freezing cold. So a hot bath will heat me up nicely.

Good luck for tomorrow. ;)

hey shep, sorry i've not checked in for a couple of days....i'm so ill... got home friday night and have had a very upset stomach since...haven't even managed to keep down water... my OH has carted me to primary care and they were fairly useless....just keep drinking water til you can keep it down and if you dont keep any down til tomorrow come back....sigh. not having much fun at all.

i did give my self a weigh and i've lost about a stone in the last 2 days.... i'd be happy but I know as soon as I start keeping drink down and eating again that'll shoot straight back up! double edged sword!

Anyway I hope that you're doing well and have had a good weekend!

Oh hunn, hope you feel better soon.

I had a bad weekend as well, went walking and twisted my knee, and was all swollen, so no walking around on it, just sat on the sofa and felt sorry for myself. Hubby was lovely looking after me, but I ate for england my knee hurting so much and all A&E said was "go home, elevate the knee and try not to walk on it for a couple of days" yeah right, I do need to go to the toilet and bed you know lol.

So today all strapped up and feeling better, some swelling gone down but still look big, fat and still hurt as least the nurofen are working now and numbing the pain abit.

Weighed myself this morning and put on 2lbs hey ho, next week it will be gone.
