My Diary - 2013

Just got called into a meeting.. Just to keep us informed...
We have a new software being introduced whereby the adjusters just talk into a mic and their work is typed for them.. Meaning the typists will no longer be needed.. Some will, but not many. So basically its being rolled out over the next 4 - 6 weeks resulting in jobs being lost.. They can't tell us how many ppl, or from what department.. They are hoping ppl can be rejigged rather than jobs lost but have advised we register with agencies n get our names out there at least so we "have an idea of what's available should our job be lost" GREAT!!!

The only thing I'm clinging on to is that I'm not a typist, therefore HOPEFULLY i'll be kept on but in saying that, the girls can do my job so it could easily be passed over.. Feel sick to my stomach at the thought.. Last thing I need right now is to be out of work! Especially after JUST getting the mortgage!!!
I text my BF n he text back that he has no work either for February!! If they are to make cuts they're wreckoning it'll be the end of Feb into March...
So now to do up a CV... just in case.......

Hopefully hun.. Gona try not think about it until I have reason to.. But I'll update my CV in the interim and maybe send it out a bit.. If a job looks good with good pay, i'll apply... If not.. I wont..
I'll get something if I have to.. Even if its cleaning toilets.. I don't care as long as I have an income.. :)

Morning ladies.. Well, cosy night in turned out to be not so cosy and somewhat a DISASTER... The cosy fire exploded leaving us sitting in the hospital all night!!! The boiler was never removed from the chimeny when the gas fire was installed, we didn't realise and lit it.. Causing steam to build in the boiler and with nowhere for it to escape to, it exploded.. Poor Jonathn got the brunt of it as he was sitting right in front of it.. We were both SO SO lucky but he shattered his humorus bone (bone between the elbow and shoulder for those who don't know) Somethingvery hard flew at him with great speed from the explosion. Could have been anything as there was parts of the grate, the chimney breast, the wood that was being burnt, marble off the fire everywhere!!!
 
Saturday, 12th January

Water: 3 mugs water with lemon wedge
Hexa: 30g Low Low grated cheese
Hexb: 2 Nimble wholemeal bread
Brekkie: 2 bacon (no fat and grilled) Fried (in frylight spray) mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, beans & toast
Lunch: None
Dinner: Chicken pasta bake in (homemade) tomato sauce topped with greated cheese
Boldies: 1 finger of KitKat. Chocolatte (cake thingy) - no idea how many syns??!!!
 
Sunday, 13th January

Hexa: Milk
HexB: None
Water: None :(
Brekkie: None :(
Lunch: None :(
Dinner: (Went to friends house. She insisted on it. And I wasn't really in form of cooking!) Roast beef, gravy, 2 small roast potatoes, sprouts, carrots & celery
Boldies: About 6 mini chocolate mallows - No idea how many syns

Exercise: Cleaning up my exploded sitting room!!!!!!! :(

OMG!!!! Poor Jono!!! thank god thats all that happened!!! could have been soooo much worse!!!! you and pup ok?! xxx
