Another early start. :sigh: Still, the air was really fresh and spring like this morning. Very nice.
I am noticing that my diabetes is loving this diet. Perfect numbers all the time. :D

B Frankfurter, Bacon + 14 units insulin.
L Chicken salad + 13 units insulin.
D Meat and cheese platter. 12 units insulin.

Morning Leanne, Yes I've read that Atkins is good for diabetics.
 
Pushed my back too hard yesterday so I am resting today. It just needs more time to heal but I'm impatient. :rolleyes: Still, the dogs loved their extra long walk. :)

B Gammon steak and left over veg + 13 units insulin.
L Cheese and ham salad + 14 units insulin.
D Spam, cheese, salad + 14 units insulin

I'm really not sure either Leanne if all you're having is what you're writing down it shouldn't be possible.

What do you drink? Any milk in tea? What sweetener? Any bars? What's in your salads? Are all your sausages low carb? Your food diaries are very basic / sparse - do you have any snacks or anything? How much chhese/cream?

Has it been a week since your last WI? What's the gain?

Sorry for the million questions, but I was looking at a board specifically for diabetics not so long ago which recommended Atkins for loss, so it shouldn't be that...

Were you on a different diet before you started Atkins?

I really am eating just what is written down. My salads are gem lettuce, cucumber, a small tomato. I have milk in tea but I mostly drink water, loads of it! No bars or snacks or sweeteners. One week since last weigh in. I just don't get it! Even the drop in calories should be taking weight off. I wonder if I'm retaining water for some reason. :cry:
