My First Add a Meal

    Just had my first meal on AAMW...

    2.5 oz of Tuna in Springwater with a couple of bits of cucumber.

    WOW... i can't believe that I'm acutally full! My stomach must have shrunk a treat. A little worried that the weight loos will slow down this week and kill my 1LB per day average... but it was nice to fully appreciate every little taste. Before, I would have inhaled it before the rub even opened!

    good luck with your AAMW, I avoided this event and carried on SS until week 7, my CDer said this was fine as I was scared to AAM, I didn't want my weightloss to slow and I wasn't ready in my head to start eating real food.
    You sound very positive on your blog so I wish you strength

    Did you find that the weight loss slowed down in AAM week 7?

    Hi, it did slowdown but not as bad as I thought - I managed to lose 4lbs at yesterdays weighin but it is my head that is still an issue. I like SSing as I had control still, I appreciate they are my issues and I don;t want to put you off.
    There are lots of people on this site that have carried on recording excellent weighlosses whilst AAMW - good luck

    Enjoy your AAM week, i was so worried before my fisrt one thinking i would want to eat more/eat other stuff but it was fine. My AAM losses are usually pretty good too (the pink ones in my sig) so as long as your sticking to the recommended amounts you'll be fine :)

    I worry about sticking to the recommended amounts...I don't think I'd be able to..not just yet.

    Hey!!

    I was REALLY worried about AAMW! but stuck to it ridgly and had a good loss that week (5lbs)... just goes to show we're all different!! :D

    My advice, try it enjoy it, finish a day or two before weigh in if your worried... i enjoyed roasting my little bits of chicken with herbs and rosemary etc!! :drool:

    isn't it amazing that we can be full on so little. I've had my first aamw - started it on Friday and since my weigh in last Tuesday (just been weighed), I have lost 5 pounds - so definitely still losing!!! Must update my ticker later
