So last night I joined back at Slimming World so today is my first full day at the diet and I am feeling hopeful! I've tried to diet/eat healthy on and off for years and have never been successful but I am more determined and motivated now than ever before so fingers crossed I will stick with it and see the results I am after! :tongue:

I was at work all day today and realised that I most certainly didn't take enough food with me (it might look like a lot written down but after eating it, it felt like nothing), so I have now learned from my mistake, but here is what I have eaten so far today:

Breakfast
17g Morisons Puffed Wheat (Half of my HEB allowance)
125ml Semi-Skimmed Milk (Half of my HEA allowance)
Sweetner

Morning Snack
Pineapple
Banana

Lunch
Salad -
Lettuce (S), Cucumber (S), Carrot (S), Tomatoes (S), Spring Onion (S), Cabbage (S), Ham, Balsamic Vinegar
Uncle Bens Special Rice pouch, chicken flavour (3 syns) - this was a quick purchase at the shop on my lunch break as I realised that if I didn't eat anything substantial then I would probably kill someone from my hunger rage

Afternoon Snack
Apple
Satsuma

Tea
Fajitas -
Chicken breast, peppers (S), onions (S)
1 and a half tortilla wraps (10 syns in total)
20g Reduced fat Cheddar (other half of HEA)

Evening Snack
Strawberries (S)
1 Lemon Meringue HiFi Bar (other half of HEB)

x2 cups of tea (milk used from left over from breakfast as didn't use it all)

If anyone looks at this and thinks I am doing something completely wrong then please tell me as I want to try my best and being a newbie, I want to make sure I am getting the most out of the diet.

[Quick note on me having half of my HEA/HEB allowance in different forms, my consultant did say this was OK as I struggle with having my allowance in one form, e.g. having 250ml Semi skimmed milk or eating 40g Reduced Fat Cheddar - is this something anyone else has done and found works for them or should I stick to the diet 100% and not make any changes as I'm only just starting off?]

As for splitting your HEA/HEB my consultant has always said it's absolutely fine as long as you're sure you're calculating it correctly.

Thank you for the feedback! In regards to the fat free yogurt - I didn't actually eat one in the end as I worked out afterwards the syn value!

I am planning on heading to the shops today just to make sure I have some MullerLight Yogurts in the house!

My plan was to write on here every day with what I've eaten and I've already failed :(

I woke up super late in the day yesterday so didn't eat as much as normal as my breakfast was eaten at 'lunchtime' and I was super busy so I couldn't sit down and make something to eat in between, however I didn't feel mega hungry otherwise I would've.

As yesterday was such a mess, I didn't have any of my Healthy Extras which has really annoyed me as I wanted to make sure I was on plan 100%, however I haven't let it get to me today!
 
Back at work today so I made sure I had more food with me so I didn't have a frantic meltdown throughout the day. Also, there are quite a few of us at work on Slimming World and that is really helping me as it means I have some people which I can ask questions to throughout the day if I don't know the syn value or am feeling a bit desperate for some advice which is a great help! So far as a team, they've managed to lose 11lbs, so hopefully I can add some digits onto that on Tuesday at my weigh-in :)
