My grandson has arrived!!

Thought I'd let you all know that my grandson Evan arrived today at 12.25 by emergency C section. Mother and baby are both well. He weighed in at 8lb 12oz so a bonny baby.

The new mum is my second daughter (I have 4). I already have 2 granddaughters aged 9 and 6.

This is a much needed piece of good news for my family. Can't wait to give him a cuddle!

He's sooooooo cute and soooooo tiny - though 8.12 isn't really tiny bykwim!!! He's lovely and like you say a well deserved piece of happy news for you and your family.... and you will have lots of happy times with him too..... hope your Daughter is Ok afte the c-section.....
