Welcome to "My New Life"

Feel free to read and comment on everything you read ..... when i was younger a diary was for places to keep secrets that nobody could read so i don't want to call this my diary as there will be no secrets here. :D

I will share everything i eat and feel .... including my recipes :D

A bit about me

My Name is Claire and i have a daughter called Phoebe (who you will probably hear a lot about)
I Started WW on 26/07/2011 weighing 16 Stone.
Originally i joined (as bridesmaid-to-be) to lose some weight for my mates wedding on 10/09/2011.
In those 6 weeks i lost 1 stone :D .... so now i have re-joined mini mins to loose weight for me !

So i start the new me as 15 stone, which is where i left off at my last WI before the wedding :)

Home-made Vegetable Soup - 0pp
Feasters Smoked Back Bacon Butty - 6pp

Dinner:
Tesco Value Sweet and Sour Chicken with Rice - 9pp
40g Tesco Prawn Crackers - 6pp
1 Bag of Beansprouts - 0pp
5 sprays of Fry Light - 0pp
1 Tbsp Soy Sauce - 0pp

Snacks:
3x WW Belgian Chocolate Slices - 7pp
1x WW Jaffa Mini Roll - 2pp

Total: 30pp

Had WI today and lost 1lb so really happy with that :)

Home-Made Vegetable Soup:

2 Large Carrots - 0pp
2 Large Onions - 0pp
1 Head of Cauliflower - 0pp
1 Head of Celery - 0pp
1x Chicken Oxo cube
Salt and Pepper
Dried Mixed Herbs

..... Cut up the veg to size you like, put everything in a saucepan / pressure cooker, cover with Water and bring to boil, simmer for about 20min.

ummm it was really good having KFC for tea...and not as bad as i thought it would be so still might have a dessert tonight out of my weeklies :D

i hadn't had one in ages either! the last one i had was in April when i went to visit my sister after her baby was born..... and didn't really enjoy that as it was half cold by the time they'd got it home (as they got it to take away) and i asked for a coleslaw to go with mine (as i don't eat beans) and she got 2 beans and "forgot" my coleslaw!

luckily today's was REALLY good !! :) .... it was just me, my mum and my daughter and we ate in the KFC so was really hot and fresh ! and i got my coleslaw !! :D

hmmm i've never had it with gravy. .... not sure it would be the same... but might still have to try it one day :D hehe

yep its the bast :D ... and very filling ! ... think i might have sausage casserole for tea with cauliflower in white sauce and potato (either Jacket or mash) .... but still not decided yet. just got a new batch of soup cooking for this week :D
