New starter - which mince?

Using the online search on the sw website, I can only find tesco and asda with free mince.

Does this mean this is the only free mince I can use, or can I still buy it from say, Morrison's, aldi, iceland , lidl etc?

Any advice much appreciated.

Extra lean minced beef, less than 5% fat is syn free Hun and can be any brand. All the other mince will have a syn value.

as long as it is "extra lean mince" it is syn free, lean mince has some syns and normal mince even more. I'm assuming you mean beef mince?? x

So as long as its less than 5% or says extra lean that's free from anywhere?

I did see on line that asda do a Turkey mince less than 3% fat and that's free.

But we do prefer beef.

I get sainsburys extra lean steak mince less than 5% fat and nearly always on 3 for £10

just to let you know Tesco Extra Lean Pork Mince is syn free on extra easy and red. I use it to make scotch eggs.

Just a warning Morrisons extra lean does have some syns, I've never used it so can't remember exactly how much it is, but its more then 5% fat. Others are free though

Yeah it's lovely I've only made burgers with it cos always use quorn mince for spag bols and cottage pies xx
