Awww sorry that you have a headache hun, I hate headaches, they really get me down, and I turn to food surprise surprise! lol

Maybe you could have some porridge or cereal for dinner if you do get hungry before bed.

Thanks hun- i know what you mean about turning to food but this isnt that kind of headache... i have never been concussed before but it is horrible- my eyes hurt and it feels like someone has cut my head open, fiddled around with the inside and then jammed the top back on again! Thats the only way i can describe it :(

Am going to go to bed in a minute so no eating for me- oh well at least thats one good thing to have come out of this!!

Hey hun, much better thanks (altho not entirely recovered but getting there!). After I posted on here things started getting worse. I was in so much pain I couldnt see and had to phone my bf and get him to come home early (he was playing footie) to look after me and make sure nothing happened. I also phoned NHS Direct who promised to call back and never did.... I have now lost all faith in our "free for all" system!!

I was in absolute agony, never had anything like it. Bf went online looking for advice on what to do and was an real angel- I dont think I could have coped alone! He got me aspirin, made sure it was as dark and quiet as possible, fetched me cold compresses (one in the freezer whilst holding one on my head!) and was just absolutely adorable about the whole thing. He eventually managed to get me to sleep and watched over me til 3am apparently (he says altho i feel asleep at 1ish i was groaning in my sleep so he wanted to make sure I was ok).

Woke up this morning with a slight headache but nothing like last night! So glad that's over!!

So, diet time. Have been good today- had child sexual exploitation training at the council and so didnt get an opportunity to snack.

Brekkie: 2 slices of WW toast (46 cals a slice, so 92 total and 0.6g fat) plus flora light thinly spread on (37 cals and 3.8g fat in 2tsps) so total 129cals and 4.4g fat.
Lunch: 2 pork and apple sausages (200cals and 10g fat) with a small serving of mash (50cals and 2.2g fat) and mushrooms in a large yorkshire pudding (290cals and 9.9g fat) with gravy (45cals and 2.7g fat) (YUMMY!) total estimated: 585cals and 25.8g fat)

NO SNACKS!! so total so far: 714cals and 30.2g fat

Now obviously the lunch was an estimation as I didnt cook it and couldnt get the nutritional content but even if I have underestimated (which I dont think I have as have been generous as it is) then it just means that I have a few less cals to play with. I think I will go and have some dinner (now I know I have enough cals to do so), not sure what I will have yet but maybe a WW meal- risotto...mmmm... yes that will do nicely and only take me up to around 1000 cals :D weightloss here I come!

Feeling much happier now I know I have done so well today!

Thanks Marie hun! Yeah he is the best, I am a very lucky girl! Just had the WW chicken and lemon risotto- have to say it tasted a bit too much like rice pudding for my liking, won't be doing that again! 313 cals added onto my total so thats 1027 cals. I also had a 25g serving of pringles with a low fat dip :) which was yum. Still under my total for the day so not too fussed by exactly how much!

Not sure how much to expect to lose this week as its been so unpredictable! Hopefully a lb would be nice so I would hope to weigh in at no more than 13.4 (ideally 13.3 cos that would be 1.5lbs for the week). To be honest as long as I lose I don't mind how much. A loss of any size means I am shrinking, thats enough for me! xxx

Have had a good day today- been into uni for lectures (we have about 1 day a fortnight where we get the day off placement but have teaching in class instead). Was good to see everyone and I was kept busy all day so no time to snack! Had my brekkie as usual (125cals and 1.8g fat), then had plain ham with light margerine(sp?) type spread on a white roll for lunch (212cals, fat amount uncertain but est.3g). I also had a Daim bar (naughty!!) which has 150 cals and 9g fat. So my total for so far: 487 cals and 13.8g fat. So I have about 1000 calories left and 40g fat. Planning to have a pizza for my dinner tonight which comes in at aroung 900 cals so that should do nicely!! Yummy :)

I also have a sore throat today and its giving me a bit of grief, hurts to swallow and to talk. Seems like I've always got something wrong with me atm! Plus its TOTM (on pill and this is the first one in 2 months so am hoping that once its over and done with I will get a good loss next week) so not feeling great anyway!

Joyful joyful! Early night tonight as bf is doing an extra shift tomorrow (it pays 150 quid for 5 hrs work so good money and its all going towards my engagement ring so cant complain!!) so has to be up super early which means an early night tonight... not a problem for me, i feel shattered!

Thanks Starlight, hows things going with you? I checked up on you on your other thread but seems like u must have had a difficult few days judging by your absence! Yeah I think cal counting is the one for me, it helps to educate me better. Altho it does work in a very similar way to WW, I think its knowing whether something is "bad" aka high in points due to the calorie OR fat content that helps me. For example I can have something high in cals that has no fat, or high in fat that has few cals, and understand the difference and what that means for my days eating, whereas with WW it all rolls into one. Just done 1000 steps on my stepper. Cal counter on it is bust tho- apparently by walking 1000 steps I have burned off 1452 calories :D I DONT THINK SO MISTER!!! Trying to lull me into a false sense of security so I can eat more. I wonder what I would have ACTUALLY used up doing that tho.... hmm....

Oooh just had my dinner- a Dr Oetker Ristorante Funghi pizza. It was yummy and I feel comfortably full! I had the WHOLE thing at 865 cals and 43.4g fat. That means my days total is: 1352 calories and 57.2g fat, which is over by 4.2g but at the end of the day I have been under pretty much every day this week by probably double that each time, so I'm not worried. AND i have had a whole pizza! AND i still have about 100 cals left :) xxx
 
thought: wouldnt it be amazing if the human body could burn off 1452 calories just by walking 1000 steps! If anyone ever discovers that it is possible, I want to know how!!! x
 
Thanks Paula, unfortunately it is no better- I am struggling for breath and have a banging headache too! Luckily I did a decent amount of sleep (allbeit interrupted) but I woke up feeling worse! Gutted, especially as I have a friend I havent seen for ages coming over for lunch and then a mate from uni round in the evening for a night of wine and dinner! Not sure how I will get on with the calories today seeing as I am having a pub lunch AND a takeaway! Will probably have a chinese tonight as that isnt tooooo bad.

Hopped on the scales this morning and am back up to 13st 5.5lbs, I think it must have something to do with TOTM so not gonna let it get me down! xx
 
Well my friend has let me down so I have just had some lunch- probably no bad thing as a pub lunch AND a chinese would probably be a bit too naughty!!

Lunch: alpahbetti spaghetti: 120 cals and 0.6g fat, potato and bacon stirfry: 175 cals and 7.2g fat
2 sausages: 146 cals and 3.3g fat
So thats: 441 cals and 11.1g fat, so not too bad at all, and it was scrummy!

Still feeling pants tho :( which is annoying! x
 
Awww sorry your not feeling to great at the moment xxx .. Like you say tho! probably a blessing in disguise about the lunch thing! .. You can enjoy your chinese tonight without the guilt! ....
