Hello All, nails still on (had to reglue a thumb nail cos it made a run for it lol) done a load of sorting paperwork today, 2 boxes of stuff to burn once we can get the chiminea running again when the wind dies down. 4 mile walk with dogbert this afternoon, dodging showers - managed to not get too damp thank goodness.

Kinda nails have u got? I have an acrylic nail habit that I'm trying to break! (no pun intended!)
I spend a fortune on the damn things. Havent been for 4 weeks now tho, and they're really annoying me. Trying to grow them off (with endless filing when they grow) because my nails are like paper underneath them and it'll just hurt if I get them taken off.

Ok ladies, prepare to be shocked, mine were £1 for a pack of 20 - had to replace the glue as it had dried out lol - that was £2.99, the nail varnish I already had.....................bargain? Plus I had to cut them down loads so they are really not much longer than mine anyway as I look stoopid with long nails, really don't suit me.
Sorry Linz, if I was on your medication I wouldn't be able to either, but just to make you feel better, am still having problems with the bum end but can't get it well enough to let doc have an examine so having to suffer, the wine makes it more bearable, can see me having to have an op at some point and trust me that will be no fun at all
Just been watching James Martin sorting out the catering at Scarborough hospital so I want to go there please if I have to have an op lol. Loved the gratuitous shots of him changing into his chefs whites in the first programme, had to watch it twice to make sure

Am getting nails done on Saturday before my Belfast trip next Thursday ... Like Claire I'd rather not as I hate them when they get all soft and useless and a bit painful but will only keep them on for a couple of weeks.
