Done something really .."Stupid" :mad: .

Feel like i have been possessed and taken over by the Choccie monster lurking within, and have just bought a big bag of Thorntons Toffee chocs!! :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: .

I suppose am making excuses but had to go to the bank for work, and was asked to get a flapjack for boss, some dark choc for hubby (we work together) while out. ! Which I did but its made me want something too. :cry: :cry: :cry:

So when I saw the Thorntons I just HAD to have them!! :sigh: .

After all this time, the determination of sticking to CD, and abstaining at Christmas etc... I dont know why I have blipped today and given in to my choccie monster. :confused:

Needless to say I have scoffed some, and am now feeling guilty! The only saving grace I have is that I made my husband take the remaining ones from me, and stash them in a hideyhole... and given him :

STRICT INSTRUCTIONS...NOT TO LET ME HAVE ANY MORE OR I WILL SACK HIM!! :D

Aw Deb, what's done is done & it shows that those demons do still lurk & you always have to be careful.

As you're counting points try and work out what you've had & see what you can tweak so you don't go too far over today. It's still redeemable & not the end of the world as long as you get straight back on that wagon & stay away from those evil chocs.

Take care hun, don't beat yourself up, however give your hubby a slap from me & tell him to get his own chocolate next time!!! Or I'll be round :eek:

It's a small blip... Don't have anymore and you'll be fine! Well done for stopping and not scoffing the whole pack.

I don't know why, but previously whenever I've binged/eaten I've also found drinking lots of water has helped. Get the taste out of your mouth, and you might not crave the rest.

How far off your target weight are you?

I read your ticker and saw that you now weigh 10 stone 8lbs ish (is that right?).

I don't think there's anything wrong with your having eaten a couple of Thornton's chocolates and I think there's PLENTY RIGHT with your having (a) stopped, (b) got the rest taken care of, and hopefully in about a week's time, you'll allow yourself some more.

DON'T beat yourself up about it. On a VLCD, if you do something like this, you're doubtlessly out of ketosis etc etc, but on WW, you ARE ALLOWED TREATS... if you hope to maintain successfully, which is a real juggling game, you do need to learn to incorporate a small treat (NOT A BINGE) into your weekly routine.

Well done you - is what I say - on having stopped!

I still cant believe I bought them :eek: :eek: . It really was as though I was possessed. ! Goodness knows why I have blipped today!!

Thankfully I havent scoffed the whole pack (which I could easily have done :p ) and the damage is not too bad. I ate about 9 of them.. .so if I allow 1/2 P each ?????? (what do you think ?) thats 4.5 for the lot.

Damage limitation mode for the rest of the day now, and its free veg for tea and an extra 5 mins on the trainer tonight as punishment. That will sweat those extra calories out of me ((I hope)).

Good idea giving them to your hubby to hide. Warn him if he doesnt keep them well hidden he'll have US ALL to answer to
