WEEKLY EXERCISE CHALLENGES.
THURSDAY-THURSDAY!
WEEK ONE

Just a simple thread. post your own personal exercise goals for the week. there is no winners or loosers just do what you can for you.. if you dont meet your goal then maybe your aiming too high and the next goal should be lowered.. its important not to rush and do too much as it could result in injury =[.

So yeah examples could be:

walk 2 times this week
hoover my whole house 2 times
go to the gym this week
take kids to the park and run around with them.
climb the stairs instead of taking lifts


i duno im just thinking of random things =]

im rubbish so post your own.. lol
 
my challenge for this week is do 10 hours of exercise and at least 3 long walks.

=D yes i am pushing myself here but i want to see if i can do it.

My challenge this week....

2 walks of 6 miles....

15 sit ups per day....

1 hour walk on days not doing 6 miles....


I think that will do me for the next week :)
 
Mine is do my exersize video at least twice and also to do 15 sit ups a day (i have not done them since i was at school so dunno how far i am pushing my self hahaha).

i just did 1 hour 15 minutes cardio on the wii fit my fitness coach.. so i have

8 hours 45 minutes left and 2 + 3 walks left to do!!..



your challenges sound good x

i got hip hop dance aerobics tonight (1 hour) im already tired HAHA.
 
ha.... ooooh hip hop sounds fun!!! They dont do anything like that at my gym :0(

Get some water down ya neck!!!! You'll soon perk up!! Think of all the lbs you'll drop!!

OK, here goes............
I will do ........

4x 15 min sessions on exercise bike
2 x Exercise dvd
2 Walks.... (Weds and Thurs due to work commitments)

Oh what have I let myself in for...

this is the first time iv exercised for a long while,but iv joined the gym so here goes my aims:

5x 1 hour cardio work
5x 1/2 hour swimming
5x 4 reps strength work

also for fun i will be doing

5x20 mins jacuzzi
5x20 mins steam room
1 hour belly dancing class
1 hour tai chi

here goes...............................

iv been gym today so done
1 hour cardio
1/2 hour swimming
4 reps strength

1 jacuzzi
1 steam room

1 sauna

gym again today,but my legs are a bit achy

30 mins cardio
30 mins swimming
4 reps leg strength
2 reps abs strength
2 reps bicep strength
2 reps tricep strength
4 reps obliques strength
2 reps back strength

15 mins steam room
15 mins sauna
 
Hows everyone getting on?

I havent been as good as had hoped, but I did get up early today and did some aerobics :) and went for a good walk yesterday

Me? = RUBBISH!!

I've had a sore throat so not really felt up to it.:(
Have spent my weekend building flatpack furniture though and building up a sweat with that!! Lol!
I just thought I would go and do 15mins on the bike but my back is knackered.

:fingerscrossed:............for tomorrow.

managed to get to the gym again,

1 hour cardio
various weight training

jacuzzu
steam room
sauna

just hope this will eventually lead to me losing weight!!
 
Hi all.. just sticking my 2 pence worth in!

I'm currently only able to do short bursts of light exercise due to some serious injuries so my doc recommended i only do 10 mins of cardio a day but insisted that's every day! No slacking off lol

Anyway I've been doing a 10-20 min walk and 15 mins on my exercise bike every day (with an occasional extra 10-15 in the evening if i'm feeling up to it)

On days it's too bad to go walking i use my lateral thigh trainer instead.

It seems to be working so far and hopefully when I've lost another couple of stone i may brave it and start swimming again :D
 
well i been rubbish!! BUT im off swiming now anyways so im gunna pick me self up an dust of the cob webs!!!

today iv managed

1 hour cardio
15 minutes swimming
various muscle toning

steam room
sauna

1 hour belly dancing class- this was great fun but hard work, i would never have thought that it was so hard to do,but it is!!!
if you get the chance to do it,id certainly give it a go
