Personal Sayings that keep you going

i like this poem just found it and think it makes u feel better:)
[FONT=Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif][FONT=Times New Roman,Times, serif]Someone will always be prettier.
They will always be smarter.
Their house will be bigger.
They will drive a better car.
Their children will do better in school.
And their husband will fix more things around the house.
So let it go,
and love you and your circumstances.
Think about it.
The prettiest woman in the world can have hell in her heart.
And the most highly favored
Woman on your job may be unable to have children.
And the richest woman you know,
she's got the car, the house, the clothes....might be lonely.
And the word says if "I have not Love, I am nothing."
So, again, love you.
Love who you are.
Look in the mirror in the morning and smile and say
"I am too blessed to be stressed and too anointed to be disappointed!"
"Winners make things happen.
Losers let things happen."
"To the world you might be one person,
but to one person you just might be the world".

heres another poem i found hope u like last one :)
[FONT=Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif][FONT=Times New Roman,Times,serif][FONT=Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif]When you've eaten too much and you can't write it down,
And you feel like the biggest failure in town.
When you want to give up just because you gave in,
and forget all about being healthy and thin.
So What! You went over your points a bit,
It's your next move that counts...So don't you quit!
It's a moment of truth, it's an attitude change.
It's learning the skills to get back in your range.
It's telling yourself, "You've done great up till now.
You can take on this challenge and beat it somehow."
It's part of your journey toward reaching your goal.
You're still gonna make it, just stay in control.
To stumble and fall is not a disgrace,
If you summon the will to get back in the race.
But, often the struggler's, when loosing their grip,
Just throw in the towel and continue to slip.
And learn too late when the damage is done,
that the race wasn't over...they still could have won.
Lifestyle change can be awkward and slow,
but facing each challenge will help you grow.
Success is failure turned inside out,
the silver tint in a cloud of doubt.
When you're pushing to the brink, just refuse to submit,
If you bite it, you write it....But don't you quit!

I remembered one I always used when I was helping people to get back to work from long term unemployment. I think it still applies.

'The hard choice is always the right choice'

That poem is absolutely spot on!! Thanks Katy... I needed to hear that. X

Love this. I'm definitely going to use it when I feel down xx

Im sorry if I offend anyone by saying this but "Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels" seriously smacks of food issues/potential eating disorder and is completely the anti-message of the whole SW ethos.

The whole point of SW is to eat great nutritious meals that taste good and fill you up so that you are never hungry. It is to allow yourself to enjoy the foods you love without guilt and in moderation. It most definitely does NOT suggest you should view food as the enemy and the size of your skirt as the hero.

If you do see this as a mantra to live by, then seriously, question yourself as to whether this is a good message to be giving yourself, because it REALLY isn't.

At the risk of sounding like cheryl cole.
I like to tell myself, that I am worth all the effort and that the work we put in really pays off in the end.
You really can't put a price on what it feels to be healthier and feel good about yourself.
Telling myself this has really got me through it.

One that I try to live by and have as my motto on my websites is... "Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass... it's about learning to dance in the rain."

Rather than "nothing tastes as good as skinny feels" I prefer to turn it on it's head:

NO food is worth the misery of being overweight

I also like:

"This is no time for ease and comfort. It is a time to dare and endure"- Winston Churchill
"Success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day in and day out"- Robert Collier
"Millions dream of being where you are. You are no longer a dreamer. You are a doer." John Bingham- Running for Mortals

and my own....

Losing weight is not for wimps

xx

My dad has always said to me

"What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger"

However hard things are at the time, at some point in you life you will look back and feel stronger for it.
