Ok having never tried any quorn products I recently purchased quorn sausages and burgers. I found the sausages particularly not to my taste, but then again, I was never particularly fond of good, meaty sausages, probably as I alway used to have cheap and cheerful ones.
The burgers I found a little more palatable, but preferred them covered with bean to assist the taste. I wouldn't say it was awful, as I am sure there will be people out there who like quorn, but my question is, if I am like this with those products, it is a fair assumption that I'd not get on with the quorn mince and other equivalents?
I see nothing wrong with meat, especially good quality lean cuts, but just wanted to at least try the quorn as I know it is free. I see little point in having to cover it in something to enjoy.
On a different note, can anyone advise where I can locate the sausages in the SW book? can't recall the brand but they're low fat ones.
